and dont bother with me i dont deal with people who think assumptively I can count on one hand the number of people I know who are employed in the field they are certified in
I also never belittled anything and made it a point in previous post to signify that
there is no argument
I said SF4 shared assets with sfxt i never said it was a bad thing, just for reference I actually liked that they kept with that art style it was nice to see the Tekken cast Street Fighter-ized
I said TTT2 uses completely new assets again i never said it was good or bad on the game
its like saying the sky is blue
if you know your response should be “well no shit” or to just nod your head and move on
if you didnt know you should be appreciative of the constructive informative post and move on
I pointed out that I’m educated in such matters to squash any doubts you may have since you disagreed with the initial presentation of said fact
If you feel threatened by my education i dont know what to tell you other than
stop being so combative
me being right and pointing that out is not meant in any way shape or form to attack your ego thats not the type of person I am
I’m sorry if you normally deal with those types of people but i’m not one and i’d advise maybe keeping more positive company
I gauge a games value based on how much fun I have with it
Ok, the problem is you tend to say silly stuff like;
You sure as hell should know that Harada would never do that. Why waste 4 years on a game to just become DLC?
Also, you should be careful on how you word your sentence because the SFxT post just has negative written all over it.
On Tekken Tag 2, aren’t the character models from Tekken 6? I was under the impression that they’re like their T6 counterpart with a few new moves and data.
Yeah he looks so happy all the time because he has almost no actual control over stuff, he just shows up to events around the world and messes with people. Its a great job.
Just looking at this one example and there are alot of side by sides if you just google tekken tag 2 mesh
Id say the tri’s are at least quadrupled theres all types of spec mapping and diffuse going on they didnt use in t6 lots of super defined muscles and bone structure it’s all reworked in the tekken takes tokyo video that came with preorder Harada actually goes over the philosophy they used in making the new models.
As reported by Polygon, Harada broke the news by responding to a fan’s request for an update at San Diego Comic Con. According to Harada, the crossover of the two franchises is “still in development and it’s still moving forward.”
He claimed that the numerous other fighting games that Bandai Namco has in development is making it tricky to find a window for Tekken X Street Fighter’s release, but the game “is proceeding. It hasn’t been canceled, so please relax.”
Game still in pre production and will probably never see it or it will be dlc chars for t7 or maybee 5 years from now. If they had anything done on it they would have shown screen shots or a cgi trailer long ago
Exactly. It’s why everybody constantly has to keep asking if it’s still in production. It was the same way with Final Fantasy XV (Versus XIII) for several years. They announced the game years ago then turn around and get annoyed at people always asking about when they’re the ones who don’t show any life signs of it. So far the only things we’ve seen of TxSF is that very rough Ryu concept model from like FOUR YEARS AGO when the game was announced.
Lol what this thread delved into. Just shut the fuck up cancellations until there is one. What Namco is doing is a lot crazier then making new animations and meshes of Street Fighter characters.
Make a rough playable prototype check if the design works. If it doesn’t time to restart on a new design repeat a few times and look at that it’s been years and nothing is shown.
I can understand that they are working hard on making a playable prototype, but the thing is, we want to see something so badly. Hearing Harada saying TxSF “is still in development and it’s still moving forward” is driving everyone crazy!
I’m not asking for a playable demo or a gameplay trailer, but I would rather they show character models, so we can just shut up and understand that they’re working on it.
Considering that i hate the direction SC it took during years (and was my fav 3D fighter), i will be happy if next Namco fight game after TK7 will be TKxSF
I liked SE, SC1, SC2 and in some way i even liked SC3 (too bad we never got SC3AE)
Did’nt liked so much SC4 and SCV, and SC LS is the deepest shameless shit
For SC i hope they wait until they get theyr shit together (maybe Hoshino will be the right director, even if SCLS has been released under him), so i will not mind if after TK7 Namco’s next project will be TKxSF instead SC6, next SC can wait
Well define ‘get their shit together’. I mean, they could wait another five years and Daisuke could still come back with strange concepts in SC6. This isn’t something time could solve. It takes a conversation between dev and community, as well internal review of what did and didn’t work in the last game, and finally what kind of game they wanted to make. If they don’t take this route, all the time in the world won’t change anything.
Gotta take note that, despite the some of the negative reactions of the fanbase, a good chunk of the core competitive community seems to actually like SCV
