The latest news is that new characters will be uploaded after launch. So there will be more new characters than Ogre, Jaycee, Jinpachi and Jun. Who they actually are is a mystery, but I’m hoping, Kunimits, Another Jack, Maybe Michelle…
Harada already said in his twitter that Kunimitsu and Dr. Boskonovitch will not be in TTT2 arcade version… so you can throw them out the window. If new characters are indeed confirmed… I hope they just differentiate Christie and Eddy along with Kuma/Panda. So far it’s so damn cheap how Christie and Eddy being palatte swaps get to be tag partners.
TTT2 looks like a winner for sure! It looks & sounds amazing! Can’t wait for this! Yipee! 
I rather liked Tekken 6 so I’m looking forward to it. Too bad the console release won’t be anytime soon. I definitely hope Michelle returns at a later point since Jun is also returning. Kunimitsu wouldn’t be a bad choice either.
Cannot wait for this! Tekken is my favourite Fighting game series and Dark Resurrection is the only game I’ve been able to compete at with some top European players (admittedly it was Online, but I did used to get praise for my Kazuya and Heihachi from said players).
Whilst I really like Tekken 6, I never gave myself the chance to get into it competitively for various reasons and have kinda subscribed to not bothering any more with it, so I’ll be seeking a fresh start in this respect with TTT2.
Hoping to take TTT2 seriously. I liked T6 casually but my favorite character was horribly outclassed in alot of matches (Yoshimitsu). With the tag system, it does not matter as much if he still sucks lol, well it does just like 30% less imo. Have not been too into the series since 3 and a bit of 5 so I will probably get back into it.

Yoshimitsu was low tier, but there’s no such thing as matchups in tekken. It’s player specific unlike SF4, where a good dhalsim player might have trouble against an average player who uses Yun but not against a good player who uses Ryu.

Same exact thing for me. Tekken 5 was my “home” for a long time and I thought I’d play T6 just as much if not more (due to online). For whatever reason, I just didn’t go as far in Tekken 6 as I wanted. I ended up dropping it for SSFIV.
I have started playing T6 again recently because of my renewed hype for Lili, but I’m waiting until TTT2 to really start training in earnest again. I’ll probably re-enter the competitive scene locally with TTT2 and SFxT.
Tekken 6 killed almost all of the hype I had for Tekken, and believe me when I say that for a while I became dangerously close of making Tekken my main game in anything before T6. Tekken DR was just so unbelievably fun, and then Tekken 6 came out and everything felt so bland. Apart from horrible customization options and a lackluster Scenario Campaign being the main feature, the presentation and overall gameplay felt really bland. SFxT has rejuvenated my love for the series, though, which is a good thing because TTT2 looks amazingly hype, as well.
So hyped for Jun, Ogre, and Jinpachi returning, especially Jun and Jinpachi. Now if only they’d bring back Kunimitsu and give her the Update treatment…
1000% agreed! I’m still sad that she’s just a bg character in SFxT… But yeah, SFxT got me back interested in Tekken again as well, ironically.
