Basically its this:
You have Tekken, which is Heihachi’s huge wealthy corporation that runs a city and you have the outskirts which are ghetto slums (think Shinra in Final Fantasy 7). Jin and Jun live in the outskirts. Jin loves to do underground fights to earn extra money to provide for his mom as well as his own drug addiction (I don’t know if the drug addiction made it to the final cut yet). One day, Jin wants to go check out tekken and he comes back in the middle of Jacks raiding the outskirts. He comes back to find Jun dead and wants revenge against Heihachi. And he knows the only way to get to Heihachi is to enter Tekken’s King of Iron Fist tournament.
Plot seems simple enough for a decent action flick. The simple “You pissed me off, now I’m going to kick your ass” formula
Apparently, the film was well received at the American Film Market screening. So they may find a distributor pretty soon.
lol@ people saying marduk is based off nathan jones. unless the japanese finally finished time travel…NOT FUCKING POSSIBLE. nathan jones started prowrestling 2001 and wasnt even famous yet. tekken 4 came out in 01…meaning it was in production years before.

I was a huge Nathan Jones mark (fan) when he was in the WWE. Despite him being 7 feet tall, he had some of the fastest roundhouse kicks I’ve ever seen. Though he quit in 2003 due to WWE’s traveling schedule. Plus other wrestlers were pretty scared of Nathan as he was pretty creepy.
Plus he had the best promo videos hyping his debut in the WWE.

That said, because Christie is not being played by anyone who looks remotely close to her, as well as a few other characters, I’m not watching, atleast I’m not paying to watch it.
