lol what?! noooo marduk is based off of mark kerr a famous mma fighter and goldberg and probably bob sapp. tekken 4 and nathan jones premiered in the same year. your theory makes no sense since obviously tekken 4 would have been in production long before nathan jones premiered. in actuality the the arcade game made its premiere in 01, while nathan jones made his premiere in wwe in 02.
he did have a few stints in mma in japan but i doubt that woulda made a big enough impact. its more likely its mark kerr and goldberg.

my only concern about this movie is that theres so many of them in the cast. itd be hard to share screen time. but since none of them are really A-listers… they might not care too much and wont demand too much from the directors to compromise the movie.

Jon Foo and I train at the same martial arts school. Last I asked him about the movie about a month ago, even he didn’t really know what’s going on. He mentioned voice overs and cgi weren’t even done yet. So who knows where this project is going or what’ll even happen to it.

IIRC back when Charles Stone III was slated to direct it, it was gonna be based off of either Tekken 2 or 3. I remember when T2 first came out. Besides the game, that storyline consumed me on through T3. After that I pretty much stopped following the storylines cause it wasn’t anything like T2 and 3 imo.
