Tekken Movie Cast Confirmed?

not at all. the kazuya in this movie was more like the anime version of lee.

I keep wondering why Jin never got his rival in this movie (what with there being a fuck-ton of outrageously agile asian TKD stylists, especially in Cali)…then again, the director/writers probably took one look at his name and immediately crossed him out. If saying Hey ha chi is too hard for them, Hwa rahng would cause aneurysms.

From what I gather, it’s at least better than the animes of SFA and SF4, isn’t it?

I guess I should look for ways to watch this movie.

Screw streaming, dl it, and discard if you don’t like it.

Ok.

So I must be biased or a very big fan of Cary…but I didn’t think it was THAT bad.

The movie was terrible… aside from the the bad bitches in it.

This movie had a lot of mythos to work from but the majority of it was ignored for whatever reason. At the same time I do also understand that they would’ve had to fit all that into 90 minutes of film. And I just don’t see how they would’ve pulled it off. So instead of using it they mixed and matched what they could find and we’ve seen the end result. Some of it was bearable and some of it had me like going WTF.

Things they could’ve done better.

Using the actual story and elements a lot better instead of what we got. It’s called the Mishima Zaibatsu. Refer to it as such. And you can really tell the cut and paste job of the story and the stuff they added in didn’t help much.

The fight scenes. They needed to be longer and have more impact on the narrative.

Christie should’ve been Xiaoyu. This would’ve solved the why she isn’t using Capoeira and the Eddy shit as well. And that pairing would’ve made a lot more sense given the mythos.

Things they did right.

3 Ways and Christie Asscrack. That could be a movie all by itself. Tekken XXX!!!

The movie at least tried to adapt it’s source material into something watchable. I appreciate the attention to detail for how the characters looked. How much they were like the characters they were portraying is a different matter.

In the end it was a decent video game movie but I think Tekken may be better off with another anime adaption instead of going this route again. I can guarantee it will be way better than the KOF movie.

I watched the movie earlier on today and I must say it’s possibly the single worst movie I have ever seen in my life. Not even exaggerating. No reaction image exists to show my facial expression throughout the movie.

I actually had decent expectations of it. I mean, I was never expecting it to be brilliant, but at least watchable.

Anyone notice “Christie MONTERRO”? These lames couldn’t even pronounce spanish names.

you havent seen many movies then

Having watch this movie too I’d say it’s a step above that Chun Li and DOA movie but that’s not saying a whole lot.

If I were to sum up the movie, the word “passable” works.

You’d be amazed that all the noobs in America who play Tekken for the 1st time, who see or do the tackle punch, commence overexcitied hard-ons (no homo) for that weak-ass piece of shit move. And that’s when the inspiration hit the director.

I have to say though, funniest post-credits scene ever

I mean, Christie Montiero, Ba Qua Chin? Seriously?

SERIOUSLY NAMCO!?

I just finished watching the movie…I really enjoyed it awhile in begining till end…reminded me of drama of WMAC Masters…I wanted to be more like Mortal Kombat Tv series. There like three spots in movies with Christie’s famous ass crack  Kara ,Jin’s gf WTF happened to her!! It’s really not like the video game.

ROFL…WMAC masters. Oh man you hit it on the nail.

Movie wasn’t too bad. I really wish they made Heihachi a little more fearsome than he was.

How come I get no sound?

Just saw the movie today and wow! It was a hell of a lot better than i thought it would be. Quite well-done at that. Don’t get me wrong though, it was not great either, and also seemed childish and stupid at times.

The concept and its direction was solid, but not quite there. With an improved script, things cleaned up, and some issues taken care of, it could have been a great flick.

As it stands now, it was alright and did a good job cramming all its characters in, and doing moderate justice to them in its limited time frame. Casting was pretty good overall.

Not the greatest videogame movie, but WAAAAY better than most. A valiant effort for sure. Leaves room open for a better and much improved sequel also that could fix the mistakes of the first…all depends on how badly they want to do it.

Overall, despite its issues it also did just enough right for me to KINDA like it in the end. Worth seeing!

This movie was leagues above those two, and despite its DUMB issues, still had far more redeeming qualities. Feels like they actually TRIED with this one and it showed.

The cast, ok story line, the characters, etc---- all the tools and potential for a great flick. Execution was off though.

An A for effort i say!

I’ve just made a quick watch with no sound, stopping at the fights and doing some fast-forward on the other scenes (after all, I’ve already read what it is about more or less). It’s obviously much better than the SF OVAs, but not better than the SF live-action movies (not clearly worse, either). I’ll try to watch it normally some day, to have a more solid opinion.

Jin became a Super Saiyan every time the opponent was about to deliver the coup de grâce . Even though most actors were skilled fighters, the development of the fights was terrible. That was my biggest dissapointment, as I expected the movie to be good in that department.

Harada said the movie is shit.

^^Link or Bullshit…

Edit: Never mind found it for him
