I liked the trailer, seems like a fun movie. Surely better than Chun Li and DOA, though DOA isn’t as bad as people say. And KoF looks like it missed the point of movie making altogether.

Looks campy, which is expected given the budget. As talented as Jon is, I don’t think he has the right voice for Jin. There’s still traces of his accent and he sounds a little bit too young. Nonetheless, given that this was an independently funded project, it’s no wonder that it stays truer to source material than its other video game predecessors.

And honestly, besides Batman and Superman, it has been shit shit shit. Marvels first movies were shit shit shit. So really it takes a team that really understands and cares about the material and studio that won’t push them to make it more mainstream. Then we can have a good/great videogame movie.
I thought the Tekken trailer looked great for what it was. Seems like it stayed pretty true to the games for the most part although I’ll save judgment for when I watch it. Atleast most of the characters looked like how they did in the games, especially Raven. Shit had me shocked, he looks straight out of DR. Kazuya needs a shave though. I’m actually kinda hype for it, but most video game movies are garbage so I wont have high expectations.

Opening day on this movie. Really, it looks terrible but I am down to watch people cosplay and beat each other. Don’t know how I feel about no Ogre in the movie though. Would be a little bit of a hassle to include him just to kill Jun.

It’s like all these 15 yr olds now who werent around for the martial arts/action movies of the 80s going “aww that looks cheesy!” because there isn’t cgi everywhereand the movie actually respects your franchise enough to make the characters look like their actual video game counterparts.
