Good grief, it’s gotten so bad now that people gripe if one uses a throw when there is lag?
Face it: While online fighting games CAN be done right, Namco dun slopped this together. OK enough enough enough been repeated too many times, lol.
Maybe they should put T6 on PC or somethin’. Have people run their own servers and everyone beat the balls off each other.
Question: how are the Nina players online?
Extremely annoying and what I can only describe as “twitchy”, I hate them.

I have run into 2 good ones, and the twitchy thing the one guy is talking about is just how Nina moves and combos. It looks twitchy, but they are just canceling moves to throw you off.
the olny problem with throws online is the fact that they can not be broken on reaction when timing of the imput is so critical so AUTOMATICALLY it hampers that ability. I play online also and get annoyed when people throw you 4 times in 1 round. you know as well as i do that if i were to throw you under lag you would not break it. and all of you who say you can break throws successfully under red bars…there are certain characters out there with certain throws who can end that little thought of yours. its not that you are not allowed to throw, its just that its much more competitive and fun if you dont have to go to the easy damage…
all of you who dont care about the throwing know what you are doing when you do it…inside your head its just a desperation move typically unless its a set up and all seasoned players can tell you if you used it from a set up or just to get the damage because you knew they couldnt break it…same as the lily spammer’s they do it JUST because it cant fairly be blocked exactly as it is offline… its just common courtesy not to throw when there is TOO much lag. im not saying dont throw, just use common coutresy and your experience will increase. ALL respectable players (tourney players and top players period) use these aspects when they are online…
have fun but dont kill it for everyone else
well im a king user…so i do throw alot…but only with him with the other characters that i use i rarely do it jus a habit i guess…

I’ve kicked people when I’m the host when they’ve beaten me strickly on the point that they have a horrible connection and it’s unfair for anyone in the room to fight the individual and they are using someone like Lili who can spam the same move and be unstoppable simply on the lag.
And just last night beat some guys in a room all the way up a 5 game win streak. I lost came back and won, and the guy kicked me.
sometimes they kick you cuz youre to good and their trying to rank up, if youre too good they dont want to risk a loss so they boot you.
and well you cant take it easy on anyone, just cuz their like a 9th kyu dosent mean they suck, last night i playe a 1st dan (i was a 7 dan well now im a 5th dan)and took it easy on him and used mokojin he beat me badly then i looked at his profile …dude had 120 w 2 L 94.4% 7 Disconects

I have a problem with Tekken DR online. You see, the lag. For some reason, it only ever hits me. The other player seems to do fine and pull ten hit combos off on my ass, and because I pressed X ten seconds ago, I can’t block them. Thus, I lose, and I fear I may be ruining my boyfriend’s reputation as a DR player (since he got me DR through a downloading loophole and now my gamertag on DR online is actually his gamertag, but he never plays online).

Ah, nevermind. I stopped running into people who have horrible connections and play Bryan/Lili/Paul.

For the most part, online fighting games are just a matter of which character can overcome lag the best. It even happens in non-fighters like Brawl. If there were leaderboards for that shit it’d be full of fucking Ike players.

I fucking hate online Ike scrubs. No ill will to people who actually play Ike well.
Whenever I pick the first option in the online mode (quick match i think), it will find someone, but if I lose, it automatically disconnects after the match. Even if I hit rematch.
It doesn’t mar my disconnect record, but it is annoying to have to go through the process again to fight the same person.
Is this my connection that is doing it? When someone doesn’t want a rematch does it send you back to the main screen at the beginning?
I’m not really sure what’s going on.

tekken is a joke online most people hosting if you beat them boot you (pressumable cause armor king is way overpowered LOL!) , never seen so many sore losers ever online in any game as the pathetics that play this
i mostly play vs the japanese now who are much more friendly an willing for some good comp. unlike most american who think they should never lose , kick people , pull the cord , hit standbye button etc etc
i forcast the same problems when tekken 6 comes out on ps3 ill stick to playing it on arc only
Yeah i’ll definitely add you Atomic Moth, i just started playing a few hours ago with the help a friend able to purchase the game through a diff account, anyways I think that some ppl just leave and challenge someone else etc etc or the connection between the both of you gets desync and loses the connection between the 2 or something
Atm I’m able to play some ggs online but yeah just gotta stay away from those red bar connections, other than that its alright so far nothing to take too serious, just have fun is all
