today i saw two new additions to the te2+ range that have tekken 7 artwork with the namco noir layout one with white sides and one with red which i will admit did look very nice but tgeres one thing thats bugging me why are madcatz still neglecting the xbox one people i know street fighter v is ps4 exclusive but most of the new fighting games and a lot of the older games from 360 era are now running on it come on madcatz sort your selve out and when are they gunna put customisable sides and bezels available to uk

MadCatz has been selling white and black bezels and side panels for the TE2 on Amazon, but nary a sign of any other colors. However, they also just relaunched their own website store a few days ago, so it’s possible we may start seeing those available again (here’s hoping). Currently it’s just the same offerings – white and black for both.

If you want a Noir or Sega layout for Xbox One, Jasen’s Customs sells them here. The reality is that Xbox One has literally no tournament presence outside of KI, and those Tekken sticks are not particularly geared towards casual players. MadCatz knows the bulk of the sales will come from East Asia (where PS4 is even more dominant than it already is in the western world), and even for us, everyone is going to be playing Tekken on PS4 or PC for the most part. It’s not particularly a surprising decision.
these tekken 7 te2s look like they have the noir layout natively it just makes me mad that tekken 7 and injustice 2 is coming to xbox as well as ps4 plus xbox one now has tekken 6 and ttt2 added to its roster still cant find any offerings for uk buyers for spares
Not gonna lie these look awesome. Unfortunately I already have a TE2+ if they came with a Korean crown battop I probably would have picked it up. I wouldn’t mind getting some Nina artwork tho

I wonder if there will be any liquidation sales for their remaining stock. It’s sad to see them go, but a heavily discounted TE2 might make it a little easier.
This kind of bums me out. I was hoping they’d pull through long enough for a possible marvel vs Capcom infinite round of sticks.
Doubtable. Mad Catz store is going offline, and their channel partners (if anything) will likely increase pricing on existing stock due to stick popularity and manufacturer-defunctness. Law of supply and demand, amigo.

Fortunately, a store near me still has some Mad Catz sticks and stuff in stock. I ended up buying a TE2+ for $30 off the normal price. Pity I couldn’t get the Tekken 7 version; I was looking forward to that one. Oh well. At least I won’t have to face any online scalpers.
In the future, I’ll likely go with Razer, Hori, or Qanba for a commercial stick.
Or just design something myself. Speaking of which, how hard is it to do, really? I only have abstract ideas about what I want in a custom stick. I know almost nothing about the nitty-gritty. Will I need any drafting software? I’ll save any further questions for the Q&A thread or my own topic if I get really serious about it. Probably just a pipe dream of mine, but who knows? I could end up making something other people might want. Ugh. That Brook Sniper dashed a lot of my hopes on this idea. It has all the features I was planning on implementing and then some. So–just a pipe dream of mine then.

What i am curious about is what’s gonna happen with the current Tekken 7 stick preorders? Did they already manufacture them and are going to ship em out as intended and that’s it, or is this gg no re everything cancelled?
Everything is canceled. The company is no longer in operation and I don’t think the Tekken 7 TE2+ ever got past the prototype phase and into mass production. Not gonna happen now, unless another company buys it up and produces the stick themselves, which is unlikely.
If you want a Noir layout with a TE2(+), you’ll need to seek out a modder or order a face plate from Jasen’s Customs. Similar answer if you want a Tekken 7 art panel.
Ah that’s a shame. Guess I could just pick up the Hori T7 stick. Main reason as you surmised is that I love me some astro city layout
Yeah just get the Sega Layout from Jasen’s customs and you’ll be all set. Art is simple to do. Either make up something from images online or commission an artist to make something for you.
I think those replacement panels won’t be available for a long time since Jasen is deployed in the Navy until Fall (and that is if he decides to make more or focus on making more Panzers)
