I’m trying to decide on a fighting game to dedicate myself to and i can’t do more then one. So if anyone else had to pick which one would you choose?
Neither. Both suck.

Full disclosure, I’m not a huge fan of Namco’s fighting games.
That said, if I had to choose one - I’d go with Soul Calibur. It always struck me as more nuanced than Tekken, despite it’s bumper bowling Namco bullshXt ring out protections.
Which is why I generally am not a fan of Namco fighters. Their priorities are in the wrong place. Sadly Sega has forsaken us and left Namco to rule the roost of 3D fighting. A fate worse than a year of Covid-19 honestly.
