The thing was, and was mentioned by commentators prior is that the build they were playing at the event wasn’t a normal console copy but the dev kit build they used previously. So it wasn’t even the final version but everyone saw this and it started the “OMG PS4 SUCKS!” comments and spam/memes.

I sure hope everyone loves Heihachi cuz if you don’t care about him specifically like me. You will find the story to be massively disappointing. Even Kazyua doesn’t do much in that thing.
Content wise, Tekken 7 is pretty much on par with Soulcalibur 5 but with a better story mode presentation. It checks the boxes in the laziest way possible. That is all for single player, haven’t tried online yet.

PC is okay i guess but imo T7 should be played the game where it was raised on: console
fighting games are pretty shallow when it comes to plot since it’s so easy to get ANYBODY into a scrap.
tekken will not be a 5 character game as the prize money involved for the winner would be very enticing for A LOT of characters with their own agendazs/reasons for seeking it out.
the fighting is merely a by-product of the competition since it is a fight tourney.
SF and a shitload of fighting games have throwaway “plotlines” it’s ridiculous.
i haven’t been disappointed with Tekken since i play it for the comp and nothing else.
