Yeah, the Devil junk was all the way in the first game (though not out and open until 2nd game rolled around and introduced a proper Devil Kazuya).
And Miguel is a needed characterā¦ out of all the fancy, trained martial artists and such in a fighting game, it took until Tekken 6 for a no-style, rough-housing street brawler to get in.
And honestly, Miguelās motivation is also nice, but never followed upon. Yeah, standard revenge plot, but heās one of the few whoās angry and fucking willing to call out and beat (and attempt to kill) the shit out of Jin for all the fucked-up selfish crap he did in Tekken 6.
Though even if this gameās supposed to be the end of the Mishima fued, I think Bamcoās and Harada are too scared to do anything extreme with the story, so that plot thread will be moot in the end.
As someone that generally plays Mokujin, the only playstyles I could do without in Tekken 6 are Alisa, Ganryu, Jack-6, Lili, and Roger Jr. That list expands greatly in Tekken Tag 2.
Jin is good
As stated above he can play more of a Mishima style as his ewhf launches on normal hit. Which means his whiff punishment is more meaningful
He has all his pokes from previous games he has some of the best pokes in this game.
And got nothing but buffs in this latest update.
Heās not lacking in the damage department ether.
Donāt forget his parry. It might seem useless to some people. However the better you are with Jin the sicker all his tools become. Also the more you realize how good that parry is.
