TEKKEN 7 | Lounge

Blob is to the left of Nina, the other two have not been released in arcades yet. Corners are likely saved for console DLC.

Inb4 Harada puts the two most requested T7 chars as console DLC

I have a feeling they will be semi-clones like Anna, Armor King, Jun, and Kunimitsu. I could see preorder DLC being Lei Wulong and Eliza, who may or may not make it into the arcade version. I also have a feeling a new character, a Capo, Kuma, Miguel, Mokujin, and J.C will be revealed before too long.

My guess on the remaining 11 are

Returning

  1. Anna
  2. Kuma
  3. Miguel
  4. Zafina
  5. Lei Wulong
  6. Jun Kazama or Kunimitsu
  7. Eliza

New
8. Ganryu Replacement (Chanmi Chan)
9. New Capo (likely male)
10. Julia Replacement (younger female family member)
11. Baek Do San Replacement (could be male or female)

Idk why yaā€™ll niggas are expecting DLC characters. Thereā€™s been almost nothing on that front and itā€™s not really something typical for Tekken.

til now, jason and predator dlc a comin.

Why? We already have Hwoarang

ā€œA roster of more than 30 charactersā€ is why. The 5-7 characters to be revealed in the coming months are guaranteed to release in arcades. Beyond that they will seek longevity and easy money.

Tekken works because the donā€™t really do dlc that way they donā€™t have to worry about rebalancing the game to fit those characters and they wonā€™t second guess the overall balance as well while doing that.

A lot of fighting games and other games have the issue of putting out new content and canā€™t help but fiddle with the system overall.

One of the reason why tekken is one of my favorite franchises is because once the game is fully released on consoles they keep it as it is like 99% of the time so that the community can grow more organically.

Tekken is the prime example of how a FG should b made. TTT2 had a shit load of content all free I might add and hopefully T7 will b the same, canā€™t wait

Tekken Tag 2 DLC was practically filled with nothing but weaker clones. The exception being Ancient Ogre, who had a wall infinite pre-patch.

Every major Tekken release outside of Tekken 6 has major balance problemsā€¦

LOL TTT2 had no balance problems.

TTT2 has Bob and Chreddy. It automatically has balance problems.

Looks relatively balanced to me.

where is gon

Aside from patched infinites (Ancient Ogre and Alisa), there is still a Bob tag infinite (almost Steve 5.0 bad), and a number of death combos. Hitboxes and hurtboxes are very inconsistent for characters like Leo, Feng, Eddy, Christie, Tiger, Ling, and Lei. Also, Dr. Boskonovitch is total garbage with Alex/Roger, Zafina, and Raven not far behind.

Need Lee confirmed for PC release and all is good with the world :prayer:

Those clips are so situational itā€™s hard to really take them seriously lmfao

Heā€™s pretty much confirmed for the home console versions (PC included) but not for Arcade at the moment, at least according to what Flying_Wonkey said.

A lot of that crap is situational (or practically, all of it is), and characters having very strange hurtbox properties is nothing new (however, itā€™s actually with the bears that itā€™s an issue, none of those who you listed are problematic).
Only thing anyone can agree on is that Dr. B is indeed quite crap (fun to use, but crap), with (True) Ogre barely better than him.
