All that will be ending, will be the focus on the Mishima’s since this is the end of their saga.

Y’all don’t say shit about Xiaoyu’s annoying “when will sempai Jin notice me?” ass, but another girl of around the same age with a far more interesting, non-button-mashing breakfighting style is a problem. Say he won’t do it? This won’t be the first time namco had regional characters as an effort against bad sales…remember Arthur in Soul Calibur?

I’m not familiar with tekken story/lore, but Xiaoyu seems like a kung fu girl I viewed her as the chun li of tekken. Never saw her as a fan service character.

I don’t really care about Chloe (yeah, don’t like her design, but I sure as hell don’t demand her to be removed or whatever nonsense), but some of you people, seriously…
A dinosaur/panda/kangaroo or whatnot, that’s one thing. It’s a joke, seeing Paul running scared from a pissed off bear is fun. It’s silly, but harmless entertainment.
But a a boob-inflating vampire and a J-Pop idol cosplayer with cat ears/paws? How can you NOT call that a blatant fanservice is beyond me. This ain’t fun or silly, it’s an obvious bait for potential customers and a representation of the more controversial parts of the Japanese culture.
Some people like that. Cool, I don’t judge. Some people prefer the Fengs, Leis, Dragunovs, Laws and Hwoarangs (the more realistic fighter types). Every culture has its own weird stuff, western (KGB agents and mountains of muscle) or otherwise. But don’t lie about it, for god’s sake. Embrace it all you want, but don’t act like Eliza/Chloe are no different from the rest of the silliness in the Tekken series.
And to the unhappy folks; it’s a Japanese game, it is obviously going to have emo demons, schoolgirls, robots and cutesy shizzle. Get over it and don’t bitch so hard about it. Tekken is still a very pro-western fighting game overall.
But at least the tears bring some amusement. That tweet above is fucking hillarious.

With all the articles and since the FGC is all about being “salty” I couldn’t resist quickly throwing the 2 together in photoshop. Wanted to use her CG artwork but her hand was too open palm and my skills aren’t that good so I went with the drawn artwork and even though I’m british, I know how popular Morton Salt is, so I found a can and voila! Not 100% happy with the salt effect from the can as I couldn’t find a suitable brush with my OAP version of Photoshop, but this was a 10 minute job so meh.
Well… My favorite characters are Lili and Nina but I hate this Chloe character. Not enough to freakout like everybody else though.
I have no issue with any of the other female characters either.
It’s not the end of the Tekken series, it’s the end of the Mishima Arc in the story. Know what you’re talking about before you open your mouth.
eh, the only thing i dont like about Chloe is that she isnt really a character that stands out as “unique” like Bryan, Alisa, Feng, Jack, King, Raven. Its kinda like Katarina, google image Constance Marie, take off 20 years, and give her sunglasses and boom Katarina. same thing with Chloe, google image Dead Or Alive, pick a random picture, and give the character cat ears. So far all of the “New” characters seem very uninspired.
There’s only 1 DOA character who looks remotely like Chloe, and she’s a recent one at that.
To their credit it can’t be an easy task to develop constant unique characters for a franchise this long and also be appealing to a demographic of some kind. Maybe it might be worth getting community feedback or ideas pitched by the community to help inspire designs. Riot does this with League of Legends, the amount of designs and skin ideas people post are avast and they typically find a way to make one that references this with tweaks and adjusts (eg. Lucha Libraum > El Tigre Braum).
Doesn’t hurt to have ideas pitched at you, unless you want it completely closed doors. I know they did the whole vote thing for Eliza in Revolution but that was premade design, not a character from scratch.
I like that whenever people react like this Haradas response is basically “LOL I’m making the game I want to make, if you don’t like it you can suck deez nuts.” This is why I like Harada. He does him, and alot of the time makes a quality fighting game.
And he doesn’t block you like Kamiya does 
I’m disappointed. I was told that I was overreacting when I mentioned that I will delete her files, so it was nice to see other planning to do the same. My idea is to make my game auto-crash whenever an online opponent picks her.
She seemed like a semi-decent character in T3 because she didn’t talk or have much character development (plus she had some thick legs), but she has revealed as a ridiculous kawaii waifu kind of character since then.
And yet there is still no 100% legitimate African chick.
Disappointing. Attractive female character, fine, np with that. A fighter could be good looking, bad looking, whatever doesn’t effect their ability. Make her drop dead gorgeous, I don’t care. However ditzy cheerleader personality or silly cosplay idol…yeah doubt anyone who is regularly taking fists to the face and knocking people out is going to act like that. It is shameless pandering to the fans.
