TEKKEN 7 | Lounge

Mr.Naps is playing like a Korean. Dude gonna make top 3 for sure.

ran a 4 hour casual session vs a jin player yesterday
and today a 1 1/2 hour session vs an akuma and hwoarang player
itā€™s really cool to see other players adapting vs me while Im trying to adapt myself vs their playstyle lol
this game is hella fun

Mr Naps vs Rip replay

If Iā€™m not mistaken, Mr NAPs used to go by emphy and played 3rd strike before he became a top player in tekken. Had one of the best uriens in NA.

Heā€™s supposedly one of the first big-name Evil Ryu-players in SFIV:AE too, before the character got buffed in Ultra and everyone started playing him.

Oh, andā€¦

Kodee also played Kazuya.

Hereā€™s some of my vids of matches online for Lulz if youā€™re interested.

I just started King the other day. Here I am working on my fundamentals and decision makingā€¦aka Iā€™m trolling mishima players by using no movement and playing the game at a slow pace as if it was Vanilla SF IV.

god damn JDCR had a sick match against JT Chinoyā€™s Xiaoyu.

Absolutely no shame in losing to JDCR, I think JT played basically perfect, JDCR is on another level.

Mr.Naps looking nervous today. Yesterday he churned out those taunt cancels like theyā€™re nothing, against Spero today he fucked up every single one of them.

oh god mr naps vs jeon ding, match of the night.

Just as good as Knee vs JDCR from the phillipines imo.

Heā€™s the only high-level American that plays the way that they do.

At Final Round two years ago, JDCR specifically stated that he felt Naps was a bigger threat than Speedkicks.

Yeah the guy plays great. Itā€™s so weird though that this is his first tournament since the game came out.
That guy couldā€™ve been qualified for TWT finals if he had went to anything. Now he has only 2 (or 3 if he travels to South America) tournaments left to get points in, which is a shame, since you only get points for the tournaments if youā€™re a resident of the area.

I swear! I played my first real session against a Claudio player two days ago, and all he did in the neutral was fish with that goddamn hopkick! Argh!! That deathmatch was quite the harsh lesson for me. And of course, when I eventually started winning, he leftā€¦

I like how you shared that comic with such an eerily convenient timing.

next char to learn the basic shitā€¦claudioā€¦noted :bee:

Claudioā€™s pretty easy to play, has a lot of ā€œjust do itā€-moves that are hard to do anything about and hits pretty hard, so heā€™s nice to have in your pocket.

Same combo, different damage output.

Such a good match. Agreed

Wall damage is weird. I believe hitting people slightly later in the wallsplat-state will yield different scaling, but Iā€™m not quite sure how that works.

I was thinking that also, or the possibility that hitting the opponent at a certain angle gives better damage output.

Tekken is about to start (SCR 2017).

Edit: Taking a long while since Injustice 2 still running.
