Oh SHIT.
I loved getting random last-second attacks after a knockout. But I remember one time in T6 I was in a player lobby match, most people in there had mics (and I think the person I was fighting was in party chat).
Kicked his sorry ass with Jack-6 and out of habit did Jack’s f,f+3 (a heavy stomp attack) when his Bruce was flat on his ass.
The guy BLEW THE HELL UP on his mic, talking about “THAT’S DISRESPECTFUL” and all that jazz. His own friends had to tell em to calm down while I kept beating on his ass the next couple of rounds.
We all know that T7 and MKX will be better than USF4, but will T7 be better than MKX or will MKX be better than T7 or will T7 and MKX be on the same level, equals…
It seems Heihachi’s important again, what a shock. I have to admit, the only thing I’ll dislike about tekken 7 that I can foresee is the lack of tag… it’ll be like another 500 years before tag 3 and I just love the tag system too much.

That image in my head… it’s too damn hilarious. I’m gonna sue Namco if they don’t implement this as a Heihachi combo.
I played T5DR for the first time Friday night. My god, what a beautiful and good Tekken. I enjoyed it so much that I think Tekken 7 should be more like it. Get rid of the power crush moves, keep the unblockables the characters already have but in T7 they’re linkable from one or two high or mid moves each character and make them cinematic, detailed and brutal. Like for instance, take Miguel’s unblockable where he walks forward, yawns and punches his opponent clean in the face. You could have it where, oh I dunno, Miguel grabs the dude by the throat, slaps him around, yawns and then the slow motion starts where you see Miguel gritting his teeth and then follow his fist until it makes contact with the face and its still in slow motion showing the face being contorted from the impact. If you’ve ever seen slow motion video of a boxer being punched in the face or that Mythbusters episode where Jaimie gets slapped in the face for science, then you know what I’m talking about. No bound whether its ground bounce or tailspin is needed. Neither is rage. Cut the movelists in half also and T7 is gonna be godlike.
These complaints about the new character are fucking silly. Yes, this neko lady has ruined your super serious fighter full of combat capable bears, androids whose move list includes offering their exploding head to the opponent, and this:
Yeah, Tekken’s been getting increasingly silly but Lucky Chloe is a whole new level of obnoxious. I thought it couldn’t get any worse than Alisa but then Eliza came along, and now this shit. I’ll give Namco credit, they keep proving that they can, in fact, always make a shittier character.
I can’t decide whether I like the look and presentation of Lucky Chloe or not. On one hand, the dudebro tears are capital-D Delicious and she made me laugh. On the other hand, something about her is immensely creepy. I disagree with the notion that she’s the worst character design in the series, though, and she won’t be as long as Devil Jin is around.
