Steve’s lows aren’t really bad though. He has d+2,1, PAB d+1, with them he can kinda poke away at you, and you’re not reacting to them, it’s a case of making the correct read with a duck/low parry or stepping. Steve’s weakness is in his whack punishment. So you can play slightly riskier against him.
So I start playing Jin lately because I got bored of Josie for the moment, and man that $100 combo is hard to do. Can’t get the timing right. No wonder that dude pay $100 to Aris to make that combo lol

The Tekken Zaibatsu discord has subchannels for each character; that’s the best I can think of.
alot of kats stuff can be side walked to the right
love blowing up magic 4 spammers and hop kickers by just casually side-walking them then destroying them with a launch or backturned combos
that basically what you do
sidewalk, block the homing move then react to the lows
once people start to get that kat will have a extremely hard time
i get blown up by Katarina, but I don’t think the players are actually skilled.
f,F+2,1 is not a universal ender because if your combo has too many hits, this last part of this ender will not connect. You either need to use less hits before the tailspin or use a different ender.

you dont need to be good to do so. your opponent just needs a lack of matchup knowledge which nearly everyone has
who didnt played previous titles…the majority of time i beat people because they dont know how to deal with feng, same goes
when i lose.
there are of course matches where i get outplayed but the majority of times its just who gets momentum first.
this will change with the more knowledge everyone get…hopefully

No the connections and matchmaking are fine now after the patch. Unless there is some weird one sided lag issue the connections play fine.

They’re just scared of their gimmicks getting exposed and losing (or losing more). I see it in both ranked/unranked. They win? Sure, rematch! You win one? They run away. These folks aren’t interested in learning.
Aris also gets blown up by Katarina atm, he even admitted it on stream and he is very good.
He wants to learn more about her and Leo in the upcoming streams.
This game is really hard if you don’t know stuff about the opponent’s character. Even a tournament veteran like Aris gets blown up if he doesn’t take the time to study the moves of the new characters.
And Katarina is considered low tier by the Japanese top players. But of course this doesn’t mean much for us, because they only consider long sets between top players.
She’s a high risk high reward-character. Unless you know the character well enough to make her stuff actually risky, you’re going to get destroyed.
I’m attending a tourney tomorrow. Not quite sure which character I’ll pick; I feel I do better against actually good players with Kazuya because his movement is so much better, but Leo’s a scrub killer and is rock solid in every way, plus I won’t have to worry about electrics.
I fought a decent Devil Jin player (I got a feeling that he was not completely familiar with the Xiaoyu match up. It would have bought the better out of me if I were to play Heihachi for that Mishima MU
