Who are the top Lee players? I need to get out of the mist step loops and finally start studying this character.
no one for t7 yet i think
lee was released not too long ago so
Also anyone who wants tips for Lucky Chloe
I got you
Why are tekken peoples so hard on calling while rising âwhile standingâ when
- all other 3d fighters use while rising
- Tekken 7 itself right in the movelist, calls it while rising.
All I got is well âWRâ = while running, then why not just call it ârunâ like you know, vf and doa notations do.
Seems downright silly to me
WHILE RISING REVOLUTION
f+4
d/f+2
cd4,1
WS1,2
Kaz has alot more just hit up practice mode
I had this conversation on youtubeâŚ
unfortunately it would be hard to change WR to while running after over a decade of knowing it as while running. If anything, Namco should have changed it to while standing.
The notation is WSâŚand I donât see it changing. All of the FAQs and threads from tekken zaibatsu from tekken tag and onward would have to be changed.
While rising could also be referring to getting up off the groundâŚwe call it âgetup 3â or âgetup4â, but itâs basically a while rising kick from being knocked down.
you canât really say run+3, run+4.

OtherâŚ3d fighters?
Neither rising or standing is wrong so
I say while rising cause it sounds cooler but either way is fine with me

yeah you can
run+3, easy.
Back in the day all run notations were âfffâ cause the only way to run was 3 forward inputs.
Tekken player notations are bad and wrong is all I have really learned. Time to upheave these old goofs and show them the true way of while rising.
While rising makes so much more sense since itâs the fucking moves that come out while youâre rising up from crouch.
While standing makes you think it refers to a move executed from neutral.
Itâs fucking dumb.
Just call while running âRNâ or âRUNâ, how fucking hard is that?
Even the Tekken 7 movelist calls those moves while rising.
Nobody cares bro
Also, Kazunoko streaming T7 if anyoneâs interested:
WS has been established for years.
Cry all you want no one cares to change it now guys, thatâs just how it is.
I just call it while rising because this is my first Tekken and thatâs what it says in the movelist.
How different is T6 Lee from T7? Iâm looking for gameplay vids and canât look to TTT2 because of the whole team aspect.

Fighting GM has been the top North America Lee for years and will most likely be the Lee of Tekken 7 in the US.
Shudy is the Lee of Asia, but heâs had to use Jin because arcade version. Heâll most likely go to Lee again once arcade is updated or whatever.

T6 and Tag 2 Lee are pretty similar. T7 Lee is similar, but has some new stuff. Heâs got a lot more combo opportunities now.
itâs kind of like with SF4, they officially changed it light, medium, heavy punch, which was only primarily used in the versus series.
but people still use jab, strong, fierce, short, forward, roundhouseâŚbecause that was the original street fighter nomenclature.
you could use while rising I suppose when verbally talking about the game, because yes it actually makes more sense.
but if youâre talking online and typing, people will get confused if you say WR+3 instead of WS.
No frame data available for eliza
great

Tekken 7 changed it on you
since it says while rising in the game itself ya know
Can someone explain what the point of Kazuyaâs Mist Step (f, n) is?
Iâm asking because I spent 10 minutes in training mode with Devil Jin, and realized how much easier it is to wavedash when you canât get accidental Mist Steps (DJ doesnât have this move). So⌠aside from arbitrarily making wavedashing more difficult, what does it it do? ._.

Gives Kazuya access to a forward moving EWGF (f,n,df) that you can whiff punish much better with at the cost of some startup frames, and Mist Step seems to have evasive properties.
it seems everyone has the same amount of hp and its 170
(tested akuma, jack7, heihachi)
there seems to be no damage scaling on lower health so that way you can
kinda calculate what attacks/combos will finish your opponent.
So anytime i hit the playstation store item on the menu it says " Content not available at this time ". Now this is weird because my copy is Region 2 and i am using a UK account so they should be compatible.
I also tried using a middle eastern account and had " Service is currently undergoing maintenance ".
Shouldnât Region 2 games be compatible with EU accounts ? I donât get this.

Itâs an auto SS for Kaz and you can actually cancel that SS during the last few frames with the d/f+1 to still get the wgf to come out.
Regarding WD versus accidental MS for Kaz specifically, are you using pad or stick? One trick I use for both input types is to actually ârollâ the WD motion sort of like this:
f, d, d/f, f, f, d, d/f f, etc. (or f, hadouken, f, hadouken)
It works for me so just a suggestion.
