If you guys need money, just play Treasure Mode.

If you guys are getting rekt by Shin Akuma in story mode or Treasure Mode, you can cheese him and any AI you play against by spamming fireballs as Akuma. The AI will run into the fireball EVERYTIME. You can do this against any AI controlled opponent and they can’t do a damn thing about it.

I got rekt by Story Mode Shin Akuma a few times because I fought him the traditional way. Treasure Mode Shin Akuma I rekt on my first try by spamming fireballs. :lol:

Omg this is really helpful. Just played some Akuma and have a 90 win streak right now. Due to all the perfects you also get a lot more treasure loot than usual. Very nice, thanks!

You can block a majority of them high and then punish with launchers or whatever the hell you want. I kept blocking Steve’s Rage Art high and the pushback would make it impossible to punish. I then realized it hits high and you can duck that shit completely into a free rising launcher. Chole’s first hit hits low, which I learned the hard way.

Noticed that too. It instantly reminded me of SFIV online lol.
But I still gotta work on my punishes.

…which is why I’ve been saying that this thing kills newbies more than it helps them, in spite of the comparison to SFIV ultras people make so often.
I did lose one round today because someone hail mary RA’d me. But on the other hand, I also won about 10 rounds because they threw a hail mary RA and got fucked for it.

It’s really funny. When I knock someone down and he has rage art ready, I run at him and just when he wakes up I stop running. About half of the beginner players can be baited like that, because they panic and throw out the RA if they see you running at them.

But of course, no matter what, sometimes you just get hit by a random RA.

I played at a local tournament today
Big turnout!
I got third place! Happy but still work to do…
Used devil Jin, heihachi, Nina, kazuya and feng. I never used feng in this game before and picked him for losers finals my friend who videos I show won and I only lost to him and this eddy player in losers. Came down to the wire 2-2 last round.

I’m gonna sit down and learn feng learn more combo conversions. Plus learn how to punish weird stuff with mishimas better! I know most standard punishes but must gain more knowledge for the next times!

Kept em honest by just doing lame repeated jabs with Jack, mixing up a few of his low poking d/b+1.
Did just enough, the Claudio hilariously floated into my jab for a free juggle. Cause he wanted to do his ghetto Genocide Cutter so desperately.

But yeah, that move on block is stupid, too much pushback to properly punish.

I ran a set with Ocean earlier and he let me know it’s -13, it’s a pretty easy punish. Just don’t bother blocking low unless he has starburst tbh

facebook, meetup, discord and couple of other options online are the resources you have. I have a local “fighting game group” that plays stuff. I use air quotes because they typically only play current capcom games and other popular current stuff, and that doesnt scream “We are a fighting game group” to me since im an enthusiast to ALL fighting games. but those are your options buddy, see if you can build something out of it!

**you have to finish 2000 matches and it unlocks all items for all the characters!

you can play these in every mode you want including offline vs battle mode and it
doesn’t matter if you win or lose. you just have to hit the 2000.

i didnt checked the titles and lifebars, have to do it later but i guess they will be unlocked too
since the message which popped up said all the content is unlocked.

Seeing Evil Canadian post reminds me of something.
I really tried getting into Injustice 2, but somehow the game seemed to miss something for me.
Playing Tekken for a week now I know what it is:

In Injustice 2 everybody seems to hit like a pussy, you feel no impact at all. Neither from the animations, nor from the sound effects or visual effects.
Hitting somebody in the face in Tekken 7 feels incredible! Every jab feels like a slight check and a swing at somebody with a powerful move feels and sounds like you just broke somebody’s bones, and characters who block that shit take a step back and recollect themselves after blocking.
On top of that the hitsparks are great and in conjunction with the superb soundeffects it’s hard to miss a confirm no matter if you confirm off sound or visually.

I know that sounds like some roleplaying shit, but I guess it’s important to me to get into a fighting game. Makes everything so much more exciting.
