Been trying to learn Heihachi because the story mode made me like him a lot but what should have been me learning his moveset and combos turned into another 2 hour “EWGF” session.

Ewgf dependency is exactly why pretty much all mishima players have secondaries, even if you get top level consistency you will have off days. I’ve noticed more and more these days top mishimas as they get older they just play the secondaries as mains and play mishimas when they are feeling them selves.

When you do the dash, the input is qcf
If you want to come out of it and do a WR, do qcf but end it in df. Instead of sliding from d > df > f, slide d to df and then do your WR of choice

If you guys need money, just play Treasure Mode.
If you guys are getting rekt by Shin Akuma in story mode or Treasure Mode, you can cheese him and any AI you play against by spamming fireballs as Akuma. The AI will run into the fireball EVERYTIME. You can do this against any AI controlled opponent and they can’t do a damn thing about it.
I got rekt by Story Mode Shin Akuma a few times because I fought him the traditional way. Treasure Mode Shin Akuma I rekt on my first try by spamming fireballs. :lol:
I’ve unlocked all the items there are for Paul and got all the titles except the one for beating the special story chapter on hardest difficulty.

So…no guide for this game? I could see if it were a Capcom fighter (they’re notorious for monkeying around with frame data to artificially extend a game’s lifespan, but Namco doesn’t do that).
Namco has never released frame data to my knowledge.
It’s always those insane Tekken heads who compile all the data through testing, though with a pc client that shit should be much easier to extract.

For some combos
You basic Story Assist combos are EWGFx2 B+4(S!) dash up Story Assist EWGFx2/3
Use Story Assist to do the flying kick which defeats all FBS.
When you’re far away, abuse the lasers.
If he gets in close and you block his strings, punish with 112 since it sends everyone flying away.
I had to edit it because TMM does combos because he plays Kazuya.

Kept em honest by just doing lame repeated jabs with Jack, mixing up a few of his low poking d/b+1.
Did just enough, the Claudio hilariously floated into my jab for a free juggle. Cause he wanted to do his ghetto Genocide Cutter so desperately.
But yeah, that move on block is stupid, too much pushback to properly punish.
90% of the people I play against throw out a hail mary rage art at the end of the round like they’re Ultras from SFIV. :lol:
You can block a majority of them high and then punish with launchers or whatever the hell you want. I kept blocking Steve’s Rage Art high and the pushback would make it impossible to punish. I then realized it hits high and you can duck that shit completely into a free rising launcher. Chole’s first hit hits low, which I learned the hard way.
