Neither one of them are realistic or have any respect to gravity. Haven’t heard “VF players” complain about that anyway.
But I do have something else I find silly about Tekken - flying kicks. The animation looks way over people’s head so you’d think it would hit high…but its a mid. That seems ridiculously silly to me. More over the animation looks like it’d be laggy but they positive frames off that shit? Makes no sense.
Guess there’s some things I’ll never like about Tekken.
For the moment I’m focusing on SSFIV.
But I think I’m going to buy T7 when it comes out. I seriously hope they will decrease the amont of loading time there, and maybe put in a more Tekken relevant boss then the T6 boss.
You ever played DOA 2 hardcore for the PS2? When there was a walled stage, the characters would flip out, or through, or over the walls. Theres a few stages I can’t see that work for…but TTT would be horrible. Especially with the bound system. Combine a safe launching character like DVJ or the Mishima’s with a character like Bruce or Bryan, and you’d have ridiculous combos and busted team selections.
Seriously, give it time. No pics, info or anything yet. I honestly give it by the end of next year at the very, very earliest to come out. The whole world has not even had access to play this game for a full year yet.
On another note, I could comment a lot more about people’s perceptions on this game. I will just sum it up in this quote.
T7 probably won’t matter storywise as they never truly explained what happpened to Jun Kazama lol. but I would like to see Tekken bowl return and put a bit more differences between Eddy and Christie. Also bring back Alex. I prefer him over Roger Jr.
One thing that has to be changed coming from Tekken 5 and 6 is the length of time it takes to get all the custom items. In 5 it seemed to take way too long to get everyone’s custom items I attempted to for two years and gave up on it. The game doesn’t give you nearly enough money or free items to obtain everything. I had only played a bit of DR so I can’t make much comment on it. In T6 it seems to be even worse than 5 in that department. Collecting all those items, including rages, ki’s, hairstyles, and auras would take forever. Scenario Campaign sort of makes it easier, but when you have to build up for custom pieces to allow for more item drops, and when Alisa is still getting items even though she has virtually all of hers, it still takes forever gathering all items just for one character.
I probably won’t play the game, but Namco should take that into consideration. I don’t want anyone else to go through that frustration. An easy way to fix that would be to either give us a lot more money in arcade mode or any other mode they’ll have that’ll let you earn you money and it needs to be increased by a great amount, probably about thirty times more than it is currently, or they can just simply give out a lot more free items than they’re doing now.
TBH…if Namco wants 7 to be good…drop the scenario mode, see if the ghost mode could somehow mimic people you verse online, tweak online play, allow online matches to give you more money for items. Take a new direction for training mode. These are some of the things that I think will help. Still love the training mode but I am hoping someone does something new and Namco should give it a shot.
If Tekken 7 would have never before seen modes, it should have a Kumite mode where you can battle up to 30 - 100 CPU opponents, a mode similar to SFA3’s World Tour mode, a battle theater mode, and and online tournament mode. Also, you should be able to fight CPU in versus mode, cause only using another player for that seems dull, they did that with Soul Calibur.
