@MarkMan or anyone who knows/was at E3: Just a quick question, in the console builds currently playable are all the stages selectable when you play VS? Because I believe in the arcade version all the BR stages you cannot select manually, only by luck with Random Select and I was wondering if they’re taking that out in the console version.

New 50/50 strings I messed with and u/f+2 spinning “don’t run up on me move” with old f+1+2(now f+3+4) guaranteed on CH. I DON’T like that his F,F+2 grab now only transitions into half of the throws than it did in BR. That kind of sucks. And his BT body drop can be done at any time now and I found myself doing that a lot on accident like a jackass, because I was losing my own health.
My boy Lil Majin is gonna rep King again and be top King in U.S. when console drops. King has always been scary but some reason people thought he needed to use throws to win. Bullshit. Dude had good, solid shit in DR and I like what I see in BR, especially his wall grab and new shit. Hot. Although I think AK is still a little better than him in BR too right?
Man you better quit. “Lil Roachfoot’s” style is so cool when she’s not being scrubbed by some random. Lili owns in this, along with other “L’s” except poor Lei. I think that a spoiled rich brat kicking ass is pretty hot. Definitely better than the RPG character that is Alisa. But they knew that was what would get the anime erections up. I think they originally made her for that Namco x Capcom game and then just said fuck it. Let’s throw her in Tekkunz.

I tried getting into Tekken in NYC but their scene is brutal, and I’m still a complete beginner with the game, so it looks like I’m going to have to wait before I can get my grubby mitts all over Alisa.

@FlyMike: I’d love to see Ganny own. No serious Ganny players where I’m at though, but I get raped hard by the local King’s. Steve? Law? Not a problem (since I use Lili/Lars and used to play Steve), but King? just all around solid.
I can’t say. On paper his individual moves look that way, but King seems to be a better package when you’re playing.
@Anti-Freak: Yeah, but that was in vanilla 6 - Bob was broke. He’s nerfed in BR now, and Law got beefed up a bit, but still no Law champion that I’ve heard of.

And AK was one of the best characters in 6.0. I’m not sure about BR exactly, I just know he was nerfed. I played it a bit but haven’t been following it as much as I used to with 6.0. I think I remembering hearing that he was still better than King, maybe like a tier above. I don’t know. A lot of shit may change when console drops.
Tek isn’t like SF and other games with the region gap. I think the best U.S. players can compete with JPN/ Korea easily imo. In saying that, I think it’s safe to say that full potential of characters, and tiers, etc will change when everyone is able to get their hands on the game.
i agree with AK being higher than King in 6.0, but i think in BR, AK is the same tier as King but just a little bit higher in rank. what i really want to know is what tier marduk is because from the videos ive seen of him, he’s pretty damn good. if anything, King is gonna get the respect he deserves.

Everybody is going to play every character in BR and make them look damn good. I wouldn’t be too suprised to see almost any character winning tournaments. I think it happened in DR(except for prob AK, etc lol).
the only reason i can think of Lars not being S tier is cause his launchers werent safe on block but im probably wrong.
and for EVO this year, im actually hoping to see a AK/King player go far.
First of All FlyMike, I’d put $50 on Zzy to beat Lil Majin FT anything in any Tekken King vs. King. Majin isn’t getting past Red, Inkognito, Owen, K30, or Zzy.
Second I’d like to say that there is a HUGE gap between American players, Koreans, and Japanese, especially Top Koreans.

Lars isn’t close to S tier IMHO. He has way too many problems. None of his lows are that good, his throws are Ok at best, he’s really punishable, his frames are terrible, he hardly gets any advantage, and nothing gives him advantage on block. He can’t keep pressure he just kinda has to sit back and hope you make a mistake. Though once you make that mistake he can do tons of damage. He’s good probably top 15 but not S tier.
Lars is just pure ignorance for me then. Thanks for the info and insight man. You know way more about the overall scene than I do.
But I would drop $100 on LM over any of those other Kings. ME_Red too.

Lars now is dope. A lot of good mids. Sweet punishers. Where he falls short is a lot of his luanchers are very puinshable( some are free combos on block ). his frames are kinda slugish. I say B tier. Mike is kodee plan on maining him or stick to his kaz?
