I’m guessing they learned their lesson, and decided to stick with NOT changing costumes.
It’s the same reason why All the T6 characters have very similar (for some, the same) costumes as in DR. At a base level, why drastically change things?

People wear old clothing in many forms of media all the time. And, it fits sometimes.
Personally, I find it more unbelievable to be cryogenically frozen than to simply wear old clothing.

Sucks that Bruce still isn’t as good as he should be. Good enough rushdown here and there, but not that safe. Dunno why they changed SS+1 to SS+12. Lars looks pretty interesting, too.
I really wasn’t excited for 6 or BR. I haven’t enjoyed or looked forward to Tekken since tag. But I’m not gona lie, there’s something about BR that has me really looking forward to it. It definitely has the old Namco feel that I enjoyed back in the days of 3 and Ridge Racer 4 ish, paired with the new flavor brought with 5/DR.
But the changes are what I’m liking. Love the down parry. Love how Law looks. Lots of stuff. Not even sure why I wrote all that lol. Self confession I guess, to admit that I secretly like Tekken

Sigh, I’m not an asshole. The talk isn’t about “wearing old-clothes”, so much as what the old clothes/look represent. A damn schoolgirl. After how many years from Alpha-SFIV? I mean, they could’ve left Ken with the ponytail and ribbon. But they didn’t, because they wanted to show progression. Akuma caught some grays in SF3. He fucking grayed! So I just expected the same with all the characters. If Sakura was a real person she wouldn’t be too cute to me anymore. She’d be a grown ass woman that’s wearing her girl clothes for “attention” lol. And I’d give her that by tossing her to my boys for a little “CHOO-CHOO!”
Yes, Tekken characters have very similar, or the same costumes. But they progressed a bit. They didn’t have to gray Hei, beard Paul, mustache Law, etc. Hell, does Ling even still have her schoolgirl alt?? If so, it’s believable since all the Tekkens pretty much happen one after the other, unlike the SFs. I agree, you SHOULD NOT drastically change characters on a base level, or be careful if you do it. I’m not saying die her hair blond and give her long locks and a fucking catsuit lol. I only wondered why they didn’t update her since the series DID show a bit of progression. If they didn’t EVER do that, then I wouldn’t be questioning it at all. Even if SFIV happened 60 years after Alpha. Really.
But anyway, screw that. BR! Bruce still lacks because black characters don’t get colder as they age. They get worse, like in real life. Anyway, I’d actually be grateful that the tiers are as tight together as they are. They were very generous to everyone imo. Anyone could get play in DR and it’s pretty much known by all that absolutely everyone in 6.0 can compete. I still think its that way in BR.

Anyway I saw some pretty ridiculous shit but I can’t quite gauge it as I’m not used to B! system overall anyway. But every Lars vid I watched was straight rape. Either they’ve already gotten super beastly with dude or it’s not hard to be beastly with him. Take your pick.

AK got…worse? I don’t wanna say worse but King is better now. I don’t care. AK looks so freaking solid, as does just about everyone. And he has that follow-up after B+1, fast ass spinning mid, actual ground throw, and “Nigga Stomp”. Nuff said.
Feng is around the same I heard, and that’s the only person I really care about at the moment. Actually I haven’t heard much at all about Feng as last time I checked the players were still debating whether as far as the other characters are concerned, he’s better or slightly worse than DR. And then I haven’t gotten my answer to whether his damage output is lower, around the same, or more than DR. I hear he’s more powerful, he’s not as powerful, etc. Whatever the case, they were especially good to him movewise. True BT stance is still made of win. Can get more creative with him and you don’t have to look forward to the same, main turtling playstyle with him. If so, at least it’ll be a hell of a lot prettier, that’s for damn sure.
Might try out Leo too. I actually won’t play the game until sometime next month. BR that is, but if Nashville doesn’t have it by then ill be playing 6.0 for the first time.
P.S. I just realized that I might’ve listed some old shit that was already in 6.0, but look, THAT game is new to me. Haven’t even experienced 6.0 yet and imma be playing BR soon. I’m disappointed somewhat but at least I was saved from Bob, and outrageous Kaz.

Anna cryo’ed simply because she didn’t want Nina to maintain her current youth through cryo-sleep, while she grew older. It can also be said that she did that just because she probably would’ve been lonely w/o Nina to feud with for nearly 20 years. The rivalry is moreso annoyance/uncaring/unstable on Nina’s side and bitterness/jealousy/envy on Anna’s. Even though they’ve revealed more than once that she does care about Nina.
Storyline in fighting games = serious business.
Obviously, otherwise it’d get the VF treatment from us Americans.
But, I won’t go there. 
Yeah that’s why Arcana Hearts is so big in the US.
