TEKKEN 6 Bloodline Rebellion Thread - PS3/XBOX 360 Oct. 27, PSP Nov. 3

I really don’t understand how to rank up. I got up to master, then randomly lost a demotion match and dropped to mentor. Now I’m stuck. I’ve faced demotion like 5 more times while as a mentor. I had a demotion match after winning 6 matches in a row. I just don’t get it. Or I’ll fight a guy who’s record is way worse than mine but is a much higher rank. I just don’t get it…

hurr durr game wants you to only fight people your rank, one rank away from you or two ranks from you anything else is BAD.

the least they could have done was show what rank you’re going to play along with the connection.

good call on that. Does markman know when this patch is going live?

I know this isn’t the tekken wishlist thread but, am I the only one who wants vanilla T6 as a console game, just for completeness sake?

I miss t6 miguel/jack

i wish we could install the whole game on our hard drives so load times wouldn’t be an issue.

If Namco had the brains, they should release Arcade TTT/5.1/6.0 as a cheapie pack on PSN.

Yeah, but eventually it would come down to Namco having to make TTT playable online, and the world isn’t ready for that. You know this.

*4 player TTT Online with GGPO=:chainsaw:

That idea is pure win. But the question is would Namco be so inclined? I smell a petition thread.

Fixed for you.

Considering they never put Tekken on Xbox until now, I don’t see how that’s possible, unless it’s a shitty emulated port

I’ll take the shitty emulated port over nothing

Say you guys, Theres this one cat named ArKsyKO, he’s real good at defense, but this kids offense is a lil weak. You guys on PSN, find him and challenge him. He has some raw talent. Like real raw talent. He just doesn’t know what to do.

so is this update going to be a christmas gift from namco now?

The file size would rape, wouldn’t it?

----Net code is balls.

I don’t know about you guys…but I feel this game is still pretty bleh to play online even with the patch. Like you can actually move and press buttons now but that’s about it. Unless I find someone with a 5 bar connection I don’t even feel like playing the game anymore. 4 or less and it’s like you can’t finish a juggle and reacting to throws or backdash cancelling all happens late and allows people to just turtle your ass unnecessarily cuz you’re worried about them throwing hop kick and random shit at you by the time you go to do anything offensive. I always felt Tekken would be a hard game to play online but dayum. It doesn’t feel that way offline that’s for sure and I don’t have this much trouble playing SFIV online though maybe that’s because you can just mash and p-link shit all day in that game.

In Tekken the inputs are too precise and you always have to be doing something even when you’re on defense. In a game where you have to constantly be reacting and moving even when you’re on defense…I just don’t see how it works in an online environment without a perfect connection. Especially when you finally get a setup for an easy ass juggle and the game just drops the combo when offline the combo would have been free.

I have a really difficult time playing as Roger Jr. online.

I have no problem playing as Roger Jr. offline, but for some reason it’s difficult pulling off combos and even moves involving two button presses online on 4-5 bar connections.

I thought we were going to get a another patch this month?

^ Depends on your location really.

Believe me, nobody I play against locally is dropping combos online OR offline. 4 bars = Hwo JF skyrockets all day.

Latency is obviously a big factor. The population density in Asia is so high that the gap between one guy’s house to another is just measured in a few kilometers.

I know it’s not like that in the US and places in Europe. I remember driving in England, entering the town of Crewe, passing like 4 houses, then seeing the sign “You are now leaving Crewe” 40 minutes later.

No wonder they shag their sheep.

::EDIT:: One thing I do remember that somebody told me about network code is that even if the guy lives near you, your signal output goes to your ISP FIRST, before being sent back to him. So if your nearest ISP server is miles away…

Between 4-8 gigs maybe, most of it from 6.0.

any news on the update?
