Yeah Aris is mad funny, and his Drag was no joke either. I’d like to fight a couple of rounds with that cat.
BDC on a pad is asstastic.

pad tekken is gay, and i had played on pad for a bit a while back, but reached a wall because i was wanting to play bryan in 5.0, but couldnt taunt cancel, and evo and major tournies didnt allow macros back then, plus arcade tournies you obviously couldnt set your buttons on the pad when you plug it in. i ditched pad quick. its trash. blindly hating there are excellent pad players though. playing pad overall for fighting games sucks to me, and besides dark geese in kof, and tekken players, you will not see top pad players. just get a stick, man up, and be able to play any game you want and transfer skills universally. pad is pad, i just dont like it.
I can play Tekken with Pad. But now that I have a stick, i’ll quickly choose stick over pad. But at least I have some type of pad skill in a quick pinch…or something.
granted, the people I play I don’t have to worry so much. Cept maybe Kaz and EWGF. but I can pull them off fine on pad.
i love pad for tekken, flame me or whatever but im just used to it.
but i need muh stick for BB and sf
I’m damn good on pad, I just can’t BDC on this bitch, it’s stiff. Personally, I don’t care about nor for sticks. Personally, I think it takes greater skill to be good on a pad because pad players are so called “disadantagee” because of it.
The PSP vs screen load time really isn’t any faster than on the 360. The PS3 is not the same? As for removing the character models from the vs screen idea… I don’t really think this would speed things up. The characters have to be loaded anyway to play. Quick Select helps get off the character select screen faster though.
Loading times are much faster on the x360 than the PS3. After installing the game to my x360 hdd the loading times are literally not even worth mentioning.
The key to faster loading times is a faster hard drive. Something about caches.
any youtube links to the norcal tournament??
aris is a joke. someone should stop hagrid from being the announcer, he’s killing tekken.
and myk and rip isn’t even close to top player status at all. who the hell rush law down lol?
And yet, they can all beat your ass lol.
you dont wanna see those norcal matches. lol. if you wanna see fab rock off with bob then cool, but other then that. ugh. rushing law down is dumb, and i was amazed how free it was to do it. i just shook my head.
hes right though. law has plenty of counter hit setups, a punch parry, and the dragon step parry at his arsenal. rushing him down is stupid, but it was going down somehow. rip went for d/b+4 more then i would have liked, and got punished 90% percent of the time hard. he even went for it close to the end of a match and died for it. of all the lows, why the fuck would you ever do that, especially at the end of a match. i dont know what was wrong, but it was some shitty tekken being played this weekend. fab made it look easy. too easy. i didnt see myk or naps play though, but if they werent in top 8, then well the must not have been on either. maybe everyone got messed up the night before. k30 had some king moments, but overall it was a lazy king. kane got away with lili shit with no one knowing with the fuck she is doing, and throwing someone was guaranteed damage this weekend. it was just all fucked up.
i’m sure i can body myk and rip and trade games with fab. america is still in the scrub stage of tekken.
Jimmy1200: I understand that the event wasn’t the pinnacle of Tekken but really now, we are all free to make our assumptions, but…until I see Splash running in the top 8 at tournaments, I really don’t think he should be making those kinds of comments(about what kind of players they are).
Splash: Like I said with Jimmy. Dude, until I see you in the top 8, I don’t take what you say as credible(as far them being good players). But the comments about the games they had last night, I can respect that, hell I criticize JaMarcus Russel for making bad throws and I can’t throw for shit but I’m not gonna say he’s a bad QB(Okay…he is…but you get what I’m saying).
Jimmy most of lili’s crap is safe just so you are aware. Or cannot be punished by anything higher than a 12f punish. The only exception to that really is when you attempt db+4 but if you notice kane only used that move twice.
Kane was always strong in the first match but he couldn’t carry. It’s like he got scared if he won/loss the first set. Plus everyone was dropping combos. (obviously Fab didn’t drop that many.) so many game winners dropped.
No one but fab (and Rip coming next) could break throws. King missed a few good iSW possibilities. I don’t play Law at all in T6 but i’m sure Law has much more better lows to go with than d/b+4.
…and on the opposite side of the U.S. Impact Clash 5 was going on.

Cool, thanks for the vids. I mainly just watched the Bruce player, and they were good, throw breaking, most juggles not dropped, although a few poorly choosed juggles preventing the full wall bound combo, and a couple of missed wall combo oppertunities, but still some very good play.
Of course they are all better than me anyway, so I really shouldn’t say much.
Yeah, as a whole we aren’t 100% straight on wall crap yet…It’s just the first month for us. That should be corrected soon.
damn, i really need to make it back to GA, I’m from statesboro, good ol’ GSU, glad to see the GA crew in action.
And yeah, like I said, it’s easier to point of flaws than to do it yourself, still good shit though.
