Someone tell my new scrub ass how to beat eddie/christie kick mashers online? The fact that it’s laggy most the time doesn’t help.
I imagine it’s like gief’s lariat… if you don’t know how to deal with it you will get ripped apart but once you know how to beat it then it’s easy as hell.
Yeah I like a lot of the customizing options in that game. When I had it I liked fighting against Hobo and Rambo Miguel in Arcade and Ghost mode.
I didn’t have the game long enough to make anything real unique. What has anyone here made with Baek and Hwoarang?
Also can you still make Kazuya and Wang look like Vegeta and Master Roshi? I loved that in 5, but I was wondering if any other characters in the series could look like DBZ characters.
offline , you can pretty much mash df and you’ll parry his spinning crap , a neutral jump then 4 with most characters will do the trick as well
online though … god be with you
personally what i do is pick Steve and use db2 as soon as they try to do anything , or pick Lee and spam d4444 .
also , Lars . all his shit hits even if you’re on the ground
Usually moves that pick people up from a techroll would be a good punish. It really depends on what move their doing. Low parries help, too.
What character are you using?
Bruce, I guess is b+2 would be good for that fight
Bruce … i think the input is f~d,df3 , he’ll dash and do a low kick that stuns
possibly 1+2 will hit as well ? and df3,1 ( tiger UPPERCUT ! )

Ah, Im not much of a bruce player but if they are doing their capoeira strings from a distance ( which obviously shows that its a scrub ) you can try to do f, N, d, d/f+3 to close the distance and hit a low.

The worst possible character to face online are really laggy scrubby Lili players who only does kick flips.
I can handle the other laggy mashers, but laggy Lili players makes want to throw my joystick at the TV!

steve vs caps, you use f,1,2 to scoop them up before they relax for combo bullshit, and sonic fang. need to space caps. once they are in your face its a guessing game pretty much. caps can go into relax and jump right back out to punish d/b2, but in general there is not point in using that move as your thing to do against caps. f,1,2 is great. its safe when you go into flicker and cancel. im to tired to type anything else. bryans new f+3 fucks up relax all day and keeps them out, when before all he had was d/b2, but there is always a way for caps.
Nah, chill. I ran into one of those earlier. They don’t pay that much attention. They just wanna do the kick flips over and over. Just punish them on block. Once you get in on Lili, launch her and go for the most deadliest juggle ever. Bound her ass and and continue juggling her off the ground all day. I was completely feeling myself during the match. I just wanted to kill her as fast as I can because that repetitive kick flip shit was just dumb.
Its a good tactic and all, But its online.
