Since xboxes break down for any damn reason, ANY dual-system game will be on the more reliable ps3.
is there a tier list for this game yet?
I know this game is almost totally balanced, and i don’t care that much about tiers and stuff

Also PS3’s are compatible with ps2 sticks and pads, so you have more controller choices on a ps3.

Otherwise it would be a list of 1>x instead of tier list.

but still, being with mokujin has got to be pretty bad.
IIRC, she still showed up at SBO this year. (I’m pretty sure I read Zafina somewhere). So did Yoshimitsu. And a Kuma player won MVP at a Korean tourney.

Ya know, I’m going to learn Zafina and kick the shit out of everyone. I really dig her play style but she won’t be a main.
That tier list is such BS.
It’s impossible to do a “match up list” for tekken. Too many characters, and way too many aspects to the game to even come close to doing that.
I mean, even with asuka being so much lower than steve, 2 well called d/b+2’s against his b+1 attempts and it’s likely lights out. Also, a few well timed side-steps can change an entire match, as can well placed BDC’s. Whether there’s walls or not on a specific stage can also change a characters placement in a match up chart. There’s just too many things that can effect the course of a fight.
As such, tekken tiers works as more of theory than anything. If both characters are played at their absolute full potential, who would win. As such, the tier list constantly jumps around as more and more set ups and traps are found.
I’ve said this countless times, and will continue to say it. The difference between top tier and bottom tier is a few more tools for the most part. That’s about it.
p.s. Nin says King is in the top 5.

I know zafina the gap isn’t big, but the fact that a character is on par with one that is just all the other characters with no original style is just stunning to me.

I know. I don’t play her, so I can’t comment, but WCMaxi called her a “2D character”. Not sure what he meant though.
