Not gonna lie, I’m *still *confused. Tekken Zaibatsu refers Leo as a girl, but I’m hearing talk about translation issues too. Not even the Japanese sites are helping (since it seems like they’re just as confused now).

I kinda know how you feel, though my car is still in NorCal (Newark) So here in Hawaii, I have no real way of getting to the arcade where most of the Tekken players play other than bus, which would take me forever. there is an arcade near me that opened up like 1 or 2 months ago that has 3 BR machines (and a bunch of SF4 linked machines), but it’s $1.50 a game!!!:annoy: and whenever I go by no one is there. :sad: So I’m hoping to invite people over to my small apartment for some Tekken battles when it’s out on PS3

yeah the Tekken community here is a small one, and relatively young (most people started in T5) I have been out of it since I was game testing when 5.1 came out. I played BR a handful of times after it came out in Japan while I was on study abroad, and a couple of times here but the main comp is on the other side of the island, which to be honest isn’t that far, but without a car it might as well be in Cali.
and yeah, fuck the haters. play what you enjoy. I like both 2D and 3D, but tekken will always be my main shit. guess I gotta play a lot of SF4 til October, since I hear it’s good, got it for $20 and an arcade near me actually has people who play it.
and please beat JT for me man, I like the guy but please beat him as much as possible. hahaha

The Tekken scene here is ok at best. Thanks to SD Tekken and other people that play seriously the scene is still alive. Too bad our ONLY T6 machine here in San Diego is $1.50.

There’s a BR machine in SF State. It’s only 75 cents.
Too bad I have yet to play with anyone there. >_< Every time I’m there, I always miss the other people that usually play there.

damn not even BR? $1.50 is nuts all the machines here are the same, which really sucks. Though having SDtekken around is pretty cool. I remember seeing those guys at the T5 NorCal regionals, they seemed like really cool people. I played 2high. and IIRC ace and nate tore shit up at that tourney.
