I cannot wait for this game to come out. The comp here in CO is gonna be fierce and with this being my “first” Tekken game I will try to play seriously, there will be much frustration on my part on understanding the system. But it will be part of the fun!
I hope the online doesn’t suck but I do have confidence in Namco creating a solid netcode/online play.

Online for fighters will always suck until everyone has fiber optic. My ISP is supposed to be getting it soon so hopefully before the game comes out.
It takes awhile to learn the universal basics of Tekken. But just keep playing. You’ll learn something new every day (half the fun) and don’t be afraid to ask questions at TZ. Everyone starts off a noob and gets smashed. Unless you main Paul. You start off with a bigger dick and chest hair. Doesn’t really help in the game but it helps overall in life.

This might be the first Tekken since T2 (plz ignore T4) where each character will have their own ending, rather than sharing with a palette swap or some shit. 40 fucking endings, ignoring Azazel/Nancy if available.

Online for BB is godly, feels (for the most part) just like an offline match. Had pretty good connections in HDR. I just hope T6 is the same.
I’m lookin to main Roger Jr. or Ganryu but who know at this point. I really do want to try out the cast before focusing on a main.
I agree. In this day and age, all a fighter needs to succeed is online, practice, and versus. Screw all the bonuses, endings, and extras that casuals gobble up. Who needs them in the first place?

I’ve got my hopes up though. I think namco has been doing better in every game in terms of netcode, so hopefully this will match vf5 quality online. If so it will be a lot of fun
That was a different Korean League, not Crash.
It should also be noted that the person who was beasting from the other team, Atung, was playing as Asuka. According to korean tiers for this game, asuka is also in D tier, right along with Kuma, Yoshi, and Zafina.
BR is a game where 1-2 moves being slightly better than everyone elses is the difference between S and D. :bgrin:

Hmmm, didn’t Tekken 3 and 5 have endings for each and every character? I know the endings in T4 were not CGI per se, but each character did have their own. Either way, where has it been confirmed that all characters get an ending? I just hope it’s not like what Namco did with SC4. I know a lot of players don’t care about shit like this, but no matter how serious someone takes Tekken they have to admit it’s part of it’s charm.
Pretty sure 3 had character ones, it’s the only tekken I really played at all.

Kuma/Panda, Dr. B/Yoshimitsu, and Ogre/True Ogre shared their endings in T3. Eddy/Christie for T5, even though Kuma and Panda had slightly different ones. Plus, a lot of endings in T5 started with Jinpachi’s final ejaculation which was boring as fuck.
I’m just saying, T6 might be the first Tekken to have endings for all characters, with no more shared (read: lazy) shit.
I see what you’re talking about. I can understand pallet swaps, like let’s say Panda and Kuma having same endings, everyone else should be unique. I just hope they are all done in Namco’s trade-mark CGI, and not done in real-time as it was in TTT or in more recently, SC4.

Man…I hate Lei’s English voice. Dude is 40+ years old but sounds 20. On top of that his alledgely Chinese voice during battle doesn’t mesh well with his speech. If they kept his old Engrish from 4/5/DR with the new battle voice from 6, his handcuff K.O. plus T4’s infamous “FUREEZE!” quote would’ve fit perfectly.

I am doubting we’ll seperate endings for characters like Cheddy, but I can only hope. I wonder if it’s possible we’ll get a Alex skin for Roger Jr.
