From all the Korean vids, I see Hwoarang as the most played character. Hwoarang, Steve, Nin, and Raven. So I’d put Hwoarang in top because he can combo so much more of his moves than he couldn’t imagine doing in T4. …But Steve broke the game :xeye: so what I say doesn’t matter because I lose to Steve all the time.
Steve, Nina, and Bryan are definately top 3. After that it gets fuzzy. Paul is good, but I wouldnt put him in top 3…yet.

Just an early opinion, he doesnt have quite the strings of Nina or Steve or the pure damage capacity of Brian but he does seem to be pretty good in the early stages of the game. Not top tier but somewhere in that mid top level.
He is definetly better then Craig. :tup:

Didnt place ling cause I dont know where maybe upper/mid or mid. And dont know enough about baek to place,sometimes I get reports that he’s good but other times its all flash.Lately I’ve been hearing that he has potential.If I expanded the top tier list to five it would definitely include julia and feng,but steve is broke and nina is damn near broke. Bryan is definitely stupid giving him the third spot. Julia and feng are real good,but not broke. Christie may also be upper/mid but I feel that those I listed are just better flat out.

My bad I knew I was forgetting someone. I cant say cause I just havent seen any high level asuka player…vids or otherwise. I do see a lot of scrubs try to abuse her but with no success.
I only want to say this to those reading these lists and deciding who to pick because they think that those characters are the only good ones.
This game is young and at this point you can win with anyone, this isn’t a tier dominated game . . . yet.
Asuka is hot tier.
I totally disagree. Steves and Ninas are dominating everywhere, taking Top 3 EVERY time.
I GUARANTEE the finals match at nationals with have one of those 2 characters.
Nats is usually early enough to where we’ll probably see some unexpected variety in the top placers. Remember, Insanelee beat Arario in T4 Nats with Julia. But such things do little to diminish just how good the top 3 are, and whether or not they won’t dominate in the long-run remains to be seen.
