I’m not fond of the joy and button placement. Has anyone redrilled the holes and covered up old ones with just art? And what is the final word on seimitsu fit, cuz every pic i see shows the mounting screws on the four diagonal corners which is not friendly to the tekken base. I wouldn’t even begin to know how to get those brackets off without starting a fire in my apt or turning my couch into a permanent shrapnel shelter.
I have not redrilled holes before because that would weaken the top panel. Unless you mean to drill new holes in other areas. In any case, I covered up all but 6 buttons on the top panel using lexan. I still haven’t put artwork under it since I’m super lazy and never play games anymore let alone that stick (since I use custom ones that I built). Here are a few pics. You see that I put a set of bolt/nut on top of the button holes so that you can tell the lexan covers those up.

I didn’t try modding with an LS-32 because I wasn’t interested at the time. As with everything in the stick building world, anything is possible. I’m a little too lazy to open up my stick right now, but if I recall there are 4 solder points on the underside of the stick for the mounting brackets. You should be able to drill through those areas and the brackets should come off. From there you could obviously fit an LS-32 by directly mounting it to the top panel or by using the mounting plate to attach it to the top panel. Either way, you will have holes in your panel/artwork. Only solution to that is to put artwork over top with or without a lexan layer over top.
I actually picked one of these up the day before you posted this thread with the intention of modding the new one as well, but in the end I don’t think I could resell it easily. Especially not now that most people who wanted one picked one up as well. So I returned it today.

Iori graphic with black and red tones. Most of the graphic should be black.
6 button layout with top row all red and bottom row all black or vice versa. Red ball or bat top with black shaft cover… Start and Select buttons could be those 24mm Seimitsu PS-14-D’s in the black/red combo

But I’m doing two of these so one is a “Knight” graphic and the other a “Ninja” graphic. I’m trying to stay away from Snk and Capcom stuff since it gets too common after a while

how does that come off? is it a seperate plate that you can take off, or did you just peel off the art? (havent taken mine apart yet, so im unsure)

Yeah, it is a seperate Vinil plate that you can take off.
and am still undecided about the art, maybe ill just paint it.
I would say that only decent way to put artwork is by adding a layer of plexi/lexan or high quality sticker from Mame Marquee or something similar. Low cost options like from Kinkos are not going to hold up. Even the stock pic gets all messed up after a bit of playing on it.

Thanx to this topic, i found one today. I just read this topic last night. I got mines at Gamestop, the guy didn’t believe me at first when I said that it was $30. But when he scanned it, it was $30. He said if he knew that it was $30, he would have bought it first…i kinda feel bad yeah. Thanx again. Best deal I ever got recently!
I already have an HRAP and HRAP2, and I still got one of these. Sigh.
I think stock, the stick is very good.
I got my first one for 70, sold the game for 15.
Second for 50, sold the game and that collector’s case for 30.
Even then, still a good deal.
I just got my second one sans game from one of the gamestop employees for $10. It pays to chat up the help. 
Just picked one up. It comes out to around $25 after you return Tekken 5. Sweet deal. Make sure you call in because they don’t have them on display. There seems to be quite a bit of inventory floating around in SoCal.
yeah that’s prob cuz they were going for $99, way after the price of tekken 5 dropped.
I know there is another one in my local EB games, should i get it?
