Is there any way to get the stick a little sturdier and less hollow sounding?

Prove it!

The deal is still around if you look. I got two, in Hackensack NJ gamestop. one for my friend, one for me. But the one for me wasn’t fully packaged and the joystick felt looser than normal. It pretty much was something someone tried, maybe used for a month and then returned it. SO I asked them to check other stores for another one. And the store in Hoboken NJ had a new one, so I returned the one I got that was slightly used to the hoboken store and got a new one. SO if your around that area, You could get yourself a Tekken 5 arcade stick, with the free game, an ever so slightly loose joystick and MOD it since that is what you guys often do.

Please keep me posted on what you know, since I also live in Toronto.

PS I also sent you a PM

this thread needs to die into the bottomless SRK pit.

Aww, you’re hurtin my poor thread’s feelings. Altho it would be nice to stop getting questions about changing the stick art. How about we give it one more day in case people are still afraid to ask the scary gamestop people to do a price check?

I thought the thread was great:wonder:

Getting ready to mod my second one, and I want to use the 5 pin cable I have lying around here. Can I just connect any one of the 4 grounds the original PCB has wired to the Hori stick to the ground on the 5 pin?

Yup.

This is to other canadians.

I live in Canada, made the trip across the border and got 2 today from the EBgames in Massena, NY which is right across from Cornwall, Ontario. Minus the trade-in value for the Tekken game ($7), it came up to $49.20 for both.

i know this is an old thread, but once i take off the metal plate on top, whats the best way to prep for paiting it?

also if i want to use the PCB it is included with it, do i need to buy some wires, or can i just resolder them onto the new buttons afterwards?
