Raph has always had the leader thing down, he was just too violent and hot-headed at times. People forget that these dudes are brothers, and the two oldest siblings always quarrel a lot.

The movie was pretty meh. It didn’t suck, but nothing memorable either. I’m glad they managed to translate all the Turtles’ personalities rather well (even Mikey’s jokes were quite good in their delivery). The only prob I had was with Raph…he was supposed to be the “rebel” of the group but was quickly subdued and that speech at the end was like “yep, bitchmade”.

Megan Fox still sucks as an actress, but at least they didn’t go out of their way and made her show a lot of skin or anything. Shredder was a pretty lame villain, too. Good action scenes, but the character itself lacked pretty much any sort of depth. Generic cookie cutter villain (heh heh).

But I guess I should count my blessings and be grateful it didn’t turn out a clusterfuck like the TF series…but I guess we have the sequels to do just that!

raph isnt that big of a rebel. its the movie series and tmnt that really pushed the whole raph as leader thing.

Raph was a leader in the comic as well and considerably more violent.

was talking about raph vs leo for leadership grudge. the fact raph never was leader in the media versions.

Raph was second in command at BEST, never leader. Y’all on that 1990 movie too hard. While good, that shit ain’t completely canon.

None of the turtles come across as a good second-in-command. Raph being the least qualified for any position of leadership. If Donnie can evolve past being tech support it would be him.

Only the 80s cartoon made Stockman white. Every media adaption since has used the original black Stockman.

Hollywood can pay me to watch Tyler Perry in a movie, when it’s a surprise casting, like Star Trek 09… not when I know about it ahead of time.

Like each tmnt reboot the movie series took a little from each version before it and added it’s own style so it could be its own universe

april in the movie is more in line with the new cgi show. so it made sense so kids didnt feel super lost if they just started watching the nick one after the show.

Steve being Casey Jones has me sold on this movie. Baxter is a solid A+, and was one of my favourite side villains.
