Teching Throws after whiffing

I was just wondering if it’s possible to tech a throw after whiffing a Rising Jaguar or a Jaguar Tooth? I’ve tried many, many times and it doesn’t seem like it’s possible.

In training, I tried to see how long after landing it takes to go for a throw and it’s a looooooong time. I personally don’t think it’s possible, but I suck something fierce, so just wanted to double-check. If that is the case, are there any solutions? I know I can dash back after a JT, but that’s not the case with a whiffed RJ.

RJ and JT have lots of recovery frames on whiff, so you won’t be able to do anything for about 1/5 of a second (20 frames). After that, you should be able to tech throws.

If you’re in recovery, you can’t tech. It’s that simple.
