me and my brother’s first and all time favorite shmup is Alcon/Slap Fight. my parents used to bowl league when my dad was in the Army and they would let us loose with $5 in quarters and we would play that game until league was out for the night 
I should be getting a Astro City cab soon & plan to make it vertical…Probably will hook up a mod xbox or mod ps2 & dreamcast in there…Under defeat looks good…Still new too shmups but having a dedicated cab for it will be sweet!
How about running PC with MAME instead. That way you can run stuff that hasn’t been ported (plus any indie or doujin type shmups, including anything I might come up with).

pinz has a mame machine with matrix on it as well as a bunch of neo geo games. oh and rainbow edition is their as well. oh and kyle the funhouse is 4k, condition is so so. from what i know they usually pull another one of the same if they have one once sold.

Even though I’m not as good as I once was, Shooters are still one of my greatest videogame loves, if not the greatest. Bullet hell (A.K.A. carpet fire) is still one of the best. :tup: Current faves are still Ketsui and E.S.P. Ra De in the arcade, and for those of you with the PS3, Look up the gundeadline collection and, although it isn’t AS great, Soldner x-2. For those who want something different to test your mettle, I suggest Super Stardust HD as well. For those who some downloadable shooter love, my Personal suggestion is to Get on that Krimson Klover. Beware though. Some of the downloads are virused. I unfortuately don’t have my disk anymore, but some of the people on here have copies or can point you in the right direction get one. It’s freeware, so shoot to your heart’s content. Glad to see more people showing love to the shooter games. :tup:
