WOW… I, erm… I’m blown away!! So this box arrived today while I was out. I had a slip from Parcelforce telling me I had a parcel from USA waiting for me. I knew this must be my secret santa gift. I got so excited that I jumped straight back in the car and drove to the Parcelforce depot in the next town over to pick it up. As soon as I saw the return address I knew my gift must be from @armi0024 and WOW man you came through with an incredible box of tricks!!

Sweet and savory macadamias, Pac Man plasters, EVO 2014 and Paradise Arcade bottle openers, an even cooler Galaga shirt and Lots of cinnamon things!!! Cinnamon treats/snacks simply don’t exist here in the UK so this is so good that I couldn’t wait long enough for my phone to charge to take the pictures and had to open and start the bears!

And finally the crown jewel in my insane gift collection, a Sanwa briarwood ball top! When these were announced, I asked every single brit I knew at EVO to pick me one up, I’m a sucker for custom ball tops. I was gutted when everyone was either unable or unwilling to pick one up for me.

Awesome video Frank, Glad you liked it! Like undamned already said, the stick is by Br0ken_Engli5h, I bought it as an empty shell and added the arcade parts, neutrik adapters (as well as extra holes to mount the adapters) and PCBs myself. The ball top is a 38mm also made by Br0ken_Engli5h It was added to the stick some time after the stick was made and is identical to the ones made by butteroj. I realised after I’d finished packing and wrapping everything (when it was too late) that I’d forgot to put the 2 RJ45 cables that I’d made for it in the box, there’s an RJ45 to USB and an RJ45 - Gamecube I’ll send them over in an envelope if you want them.
To answer your question in the video, the stick is 1 of a kind and was my own until now. I Haven’t really been using it much recently since I’ve got a whole bunch of other custom sticks and tend to use my @rtdzign mini stick (now with new ball top!) as my main stick for fighting games, my self made dnd stick for shmups and shadaloo.eu arthur stick for everything else!

Sorry, I’ve been staying quiet over the whole ordeal, since there was another Brit out there and wanted to maintain Secret Santa secretness.
Me and mr Dibbs have been in touch. I addressed it to his forum name, thinking I was being cute and this, paired with the fact that he’d recently moved house, meant that he lacked sufficient documents to collect the package. Frustratingly, it was right there in front of him and he wasn’t allowed to take it!
Both absolutely devastated, but JRDibbs has been incredibly positive about it all and maintained Christmas cheer
To twist the knife, it’s shipping internationally, so it’s had to fly back from the states to England over Xmas and is taking fcking ages.
Still no sign of it at this end. It took around 2 weeks to ship out, so if USPS was closed over Xmas and new year, I’m assuming it still has a little under a week to get here.
Prepared some bonus stuff to go with the package on its return journey, to make up for the misshap.
Really sorry that I’ve let you all down, I’d put so much planning and prep into this and still managed to fck it up!

Dope, dope dope! Sorry I couldn’t send everything at once Gummo. I had ordered the pillow about a week before the deadline, but there was a bit of a delay. So I had to send the game first. I was debating between Saul and dead Gus at the store, but once you mentioned you managed to burn Saul, I figured I’d send Gus with the pillow. It’s not a plush JDM, but I figured it would do.
The shrimp chips were indeed a gag gift
As @manbehindthewires says I had the package within arms reach and they took it back (the monsters!!!) But seeing everyone recieving and showing their own gifts washed away all the salt and made my heart grow three times its size
It has been a year of ups and downs but the community’s support and upbeat attitude makes everything better (You can add that to your resume SRK!)
