I guess Dorm’s black hole assist would be useful as well, but I do like having Dorm’s AA AND Dante’s AA since unlike CapCom, Dante will be useful on point. So it’s nice having them back up each other I guess.
still afraid that people are counting too much on sent (presuming he’s in). If mag and storm are any hints he’s gonna lose some of his zing.
i dont see where you see lost zing lol. they might not have everything in the previous game, but just from the reveal trailers you can already see that mags and storm can already do shit they have never been able to combo before.
I don’t think it’s that they lost any “zing”, I think it’s more that other characters have gained “zing” now. Storm still looks really good. I don’t think they’d wanna show the Romfinite or whatever Magnus has. Plus, like NickGuy said, they do seem like they have more combo ability, despite no sign of infinite for Magnus.
If Storm has enough time to Typhoon after an air throw, I think she can do more damage dealing things after the air throw.
There are so many characters that look absolutely godlike, that it’s really hard to narrow down to three for a main team.
First thing I’m going to try is probably going to be Taskmaster (assuming he’s in)/Wesker/Spencer.
My lack of 8-ways in my team hurts.
If there’s no re-fly or un-fly Sentinel’s arial dominance is going to take a massive hit. The ability to stay in the air and rain down on the opponent as well as block while coming out of flight was deffinately one of his strongest assets; if neither of these opportunities exist, nerfing the actual character would be majorly pointless and make him shitter than he deserves to be. If anything I’d expect some general buffs to make up for the (apparent) system changes…
Ruby Heart(jk)/Hsien-Ko/Shuma
Build meter with Trish, go to Shuma, then when I need something more offensive go to Hsien-Ko using Shuma’s eyes for the safe switchin. Hopefully Shuma’s eyes still explode on call in.

With what will probably be dozens/hundreds of viable teams, my guess is that the stronger teams will be the general use ones that can switch styles at will. The characters that can both rush down and zone (Deadpool, Trish, Chris, Ammy, Iron Man, Joe, etc) will be invaluable imo.
Tron/Trish/???( trying to figure out the third) with Tron with her drill assist and Trish with hopskotch will be the starting of a good lockdown team using Tron’s drill to keep them in the corner as well as hopskotch and just to wail on them. Just need a good rushdown character.
Dunno, Morrigan? She worked well with Tron in MVC2 and she works well with Trish.
Or you could use Wesker or Mags or something.
RE: Unfly and Refly
There is fast fly in this game, and there is unfly, but you cannot refly. So you can superjump, then fly during it, then unfly again, but after that you can’t go back into fly without landing first.
I vot Wesker 1st, and Mags 2nd. I just hope Albert has better blockstring cuz right now they look weak without teleport aid. I hope push doesn’t hurt.
