What the fuck are you talking about? pushblock was pretty fine in TVC, its just that in this game it went pretty overboard like having projectiles pushback characters from advancing forth and/or advancing guard pushing them nearly 3/4th of the screen away(on certain moves) while being pretty easy to mash out.
Edit- Nickguy, doesn’t matter what type of assist it is, as long as it is an assist it won’t be affected by pushblock.
Double Edit- Of course I hope I am wrong on this game going overboard with advancing guard. It just seemed very powerful and too easy to do from the build I played.

Team Comical Quickness (my main team): chun/deadpool/vj. with these three its all about speed/flashyness with chun li’s triple jump and air dash. viewtiful joes long ass air combos. and deapool with his guns and quickness also as the comic relief XD
Team PSLFD: ironman/x-23/storm/viper (backup team). most of these characters have tri jumps and 8-way dashes. usually in the right hands you wont be able to leave the ground.

How would Doom mainly help Dante besides teleport mixups? Repulsor blast OTGs so i can see that going into 100%s.

Well hes a DLC
teleport mixups, prevention from teleport mixups, rushdown cover. i also have this scenario in my head…build 5 meters with dante, finishing the first character, 100% the second character with dantes one touch kill…then while you still have KFC, you start dantes relaunch combo except instead of KFCing into another combo you DHC to proton cannon DHC to photon array. if KFC lasts long enough that could be another 100% right there? (depending on the character youre damaging + length of KFC…can KFC run out mid hyper?)
Wesker/Zero/Taskmaster might be another team I run… with the leaked roster looking to become more true. Also if Mike Haggar is different enough from Gief ill give him a whirl.
But so pumped with the addition of Taskmaster and return of Sentinel
I want to run a… Nathan Spencer - Ironman - Thor team.
But its dependant on a couple things.
Will Spencer have a grapple assist that pulls opponents in so Thor can get off damaging combos.
What is the effect of KFC’ing out of bionic arm hyper? I wonder if it can be followed up by pulling them in again for another bionic arm followed by a proton canon DHC.
Once I figure out those conditions I’ll make Spencer a beast
If it is true…I wonder how Hsien-ko will play out. Hsien-Ko has always had IAD, the spiked balls bounce super might play out well in Marvel 3, and her dash is crazy good. She might be up there with Storm in spamming shit. Honestly here are teams I think will be good.
Sentinel/Spencer/MODOK (Heavy hitters with no real big cons imo)
Storm/Zero/Viper (Another pixie team to add)
She-Hulk/Super Skrull/Wesker (nasty DHC potential)
Dante/Phoenix is good and sounds stupid enough:woot: as my tourney team. A 3rd is just to feel space. I’m looking at Hsien-Ko as my DS rep or Taskmaster.
