Wolv/Akuma IS MUCH BETTER than Wolvie /Ammy. Trust me I looked at this shell too (Wolvie/Doom/Ammy) but Ammy is only good for lockdown and that’s it. Can’t convert off B slash’s, Can’t OTG off throws, Can’t extend combos.Firebrand’s otg seems to be too slow unless powered up and the THC isn’t the greatest. So if you’re certain you can resetting them and I assume finish off a team hyper go for it. Otherwise it seems like an uphill battle. Their health is another issue. Ammy is a good anchor, and Firebrand has a great synergy with her, but Wolverine seems like the odd man out. This is just my opinion though
i use demon missile to otg with wolverine. works perfectly to extend combos and start the wolvie loop. and berserker slash setups are very tricky with ammy assist. but yes I know wolvie akuma is better. I used to use akuma and I miss him. But wolverin/Ammy shouldn’t be slpet on. Once you have someone pinned in the corner you usually win.
Yea I was messing around with wolvie/doom(plasma beam)/sent this friday and actually enjoyed it. Its prolly because Im better with doom/sent than I am with dante/akuma plus the fact that I was playing someone who was still learning the game, but the team seems like it has some nice tricks and shit. Definitely gonna do a lil more research with the team and see what I can discover, its a team I’ve only ever seen one person using and he ran missiles.
i’m looking to run wesker wolverine & spencer (in that order) i think that’s a pretty basic team with good synergy & is able to get damage quickly let me no if this is a bad team good team or wht
So I am new to the forums but am curious what people think of Logan/Strange/Wesker… Is bolts a viable wolvy assist?
I don’t think thats a good team at all, your running 3 characters who need assists, but aren’t running any real assists. Wesker needs a strong horizontal assist to get in on characters and neither logan nor spencer provide this, once wesker dies your running logan, who also needs a horizontal assist, with spencer who doesn’t provide one. Finally you have anchor spencer, maybe Im mistaken but this just isn’t a good idea, spencer really needs an assist to make his offense safe as none of his zips are safe, his overhead is throwable(while its activating and on block) and his armor piercer is like -20 something on block. You might gimmick out a few wins with random bionic arms but I don’t see this team winning consistently against any competent opponent.
what about wesker wolverine akuma? i mean i’m trying to have a basic team that’s not going to take me a really long time to get good with only problem i have with that team is they all have no life any characters you have in mind that are easy to pick up that would work with wolverine & or wekser?
Now that team has my stamp of approval, its solid and its easy. The only other character id recommend would be doom, play wolve/doom/wesker or wolvie/wesker/doom that team is also really solid and dooms not that hard to pick up, but I think wolvie/wesker/akuma is a very solid team and its straight forward.

Yea, it sucks, but all you ever need is one good hit and your in there.
who works well with wolverine & wesker? i’m not really feeling akuma nor sentinel is there any characters who work those 2?

Fatal Claw loops work as well
B Slash may not always combo but lead to good mixup.
Drill claw into immediate dive kick while calling ammy saves the ground bounce and is a full combo or leads into mixup
Air throws pause and back dash before the slide, ground throw call ammy on hit 4. Hope that helps!

Thinking about picking up wolvie/doom/dante as a secondary team. Would probably run it with doom on plasma beam, and dante on session(of course). Just wondering if this sounds pretty solid for a wolvie team.
I don’t know about doom/dante or even dante/doom tbh, Im not a fan of jam session for anyone not named zero because of the ludicrous amount of damage scaling it causes and as such I don’t see much potential in doom dante, on the flip side, dante’s damage is too low already to be running an assist like plasma beam behind him. Although I could see you making it work, its not a bad team by any stretch of imagination, Im just trying to figure out how it would work once logan died.
Well once logan is down I can still run Doom/Jam session which is actually pretty good. Makes Foot-dives, and butter beam pressure harder to deal with while pumping up Doom’s Zoning game. This also saves XF3, if I have it that is, for Dante instead of Doom who can really turn things around with that and DT.
Seems solid so far from what I’ve played. Both Jam session, and plasma beam give me safe B Slash pressure from what it seems. Off of a doom plasma beam I can usually net 900K with the fatal claw loop, but I’m pretty sure I can squeeze more damage out of this team.
Lately been messing with Wolverine Shuma Akuma. Both assist are amazing for wolverine and fulfill multiples uses for Logan. Shuma with Tatsu isn’t bad at all, and Akuma with Mystic Ray is quite ridiculous. Plus they’re pretty damn fun to play with

Figured out some more. its possible to otg after the divekick j mhs (not super jump) if you call ammy as you press s dash back slide. The assist will hit and you can drill claw or berserker barrage into flaw claw. HOWEVER if you used an assist to get the hit they will pop out after the cold star due to hit stun if you try to b barrage so you can only drill claw fatal claw (loop if you’re good enough I think, I can’t get it to hit). Since Ammy is your main assist this shouldn’t actually affect you and it does more damage, so enjoy
