God if you every land Steve’s command grab it should be almost over 600 plus damage for 1 bar with Dudley…
Just picked up Steve using him with Yoshimitsu, not an easy team to run, especially with my execution, but I’m having a blast, looking into other teams with Steve such as Lars, Hugo, Marduk, Julia, Law, jin, Hei, abel, Kuma.
changing it up to Asuka/Steve currently. Steve is better at getting in now since his dash is projectile invincible now. His normals are pretty good length too (and are just overall good), which is good to task Asuka in cause she does some retarded damage if she gets near somebody

The Damage on that team should be astronomically high O_O
recently picked up the game. use steve x julia with steve being my defensive character and julia being the rushdown character. both can get solid damage on their own reaching as high as 500 w/o meter<br><br>
Switched to Jin/Steve…once I did a 700 Damage combo off of Steve’s Gatling gun…Full bar though because it involves Jin’s super and the tag in, but so worth it.
Also using Sagat x Steve

LOL same here. I feel like we’re the only members still using this board. Reppin Steve x Julia right now. Finding new tech for Steve to make him have possibly the best defense in the game. I just need to know all of the most commonly used bnbs for every character then I might make a video for it.<br><br>
That used to be my old team, but now Im using Hwoarang/Steve. That’s Steve’s default team and i feel they have great synergy anyway.

Hey, first time poster here. I figure I’ll throw my hat in this ring since Steve’s my favorite character, and there’s a disheartening lack of gentleman boxers supporting the lad. I’ve been playing Law x Steve pretty much exclusively since I got the game last year.

Experimenting a bit with Sakura x Steve, this team is actually…quite damaging.
Damage isn’t everything. You need someone who will accent Steve’s weaknesses. Someone with reversals, great on point, meter builder, etc.
I disagree with that mindset somewhat. You don’t want to fill in Steve’s weaknesses, but rather accentuate his strengths. Having someone with a good reversal doesn’t give Steve himself a good reversal; having someone that builds meter, carries the opponent to the corner, and has multiple ways to tag Steve in for a damaging combo will play more to his game.
I think either approach is good as long as you can make it work, I’m working on teams that are more in line with how shadow is thinking and others that are just for hurting people bad if they screw up lol I’m secretly working on Steve/Asuka just for the damage and the challenge lol.
I actually tried this team out and i preffered it Asuka first, then Steve as i found its easier to switch out with asuka. This team’s damage is ridiculously amazing though.
And on the Steve’s partner debate, i think all you really need is someone who can build meter and can switch out easily. Someone you feel comfortable using would be great too. I like to rushdown so Hwoarang just filled the spot perfectly for me.
