yeah,i was at MLG, i played david sanchez the first round, lol, so ended up losing right in the beginning. i bet i can beat him if i had a arcade stick:) not them shitty nova sticks and pads.

Choi issue an alpha 3 challange. Charge five dollars for a best three out of five match. any one who wins gets an “I beat Choi” Shirt. That would get close to about 150.00 if not more. If it’s thrown a little after the first of the month. After everyone gets there allowence.

I would think the only reason there isn’t a tourney scene in SF is because there isn’t a good place to play. Closest would be UCB…State is good for like a week, then it goes bad…
SF is hella congested…like all this cool shit compressed into a small ass area. It makes parking a bitch…I mean…for me to go play somewhere like State: I drive 45 miles to get there, park 4 blocks or so away at the risk of getting a $30 parking ticket, walk down to the student center after getting attacked by solicitors on campus, walk downstairs to find that no one is there to play…or if there is anyone there, the controls are messed up.
Riptide is different, parking is worse, and while the cab works decently, it’s too close together for any two gamers to fit. Plus, there’s no comp there either.
