anyone getting Garou on XBL?
also can somone remind me the day(s)/hours of the PSU game night? ive been told it like twice already lol, but i keep forgetting cause i think its only 1 day a week now instead of 2ā¦ right?
When does it come out? Iāve never played it, but i may very well pick it up (once I have some cash, that is).
i believe it came out this morning, i heard some people D/L it from the xbox website really early so im not 100% if its only on there(atm) or if it was put up on live yet, but if its not it will be up soon(probably today) if it isnt already.
Itās up. I copād that demo. Itās pretty awesome.
Donāt have the money to buy it right now, though. Iāll be picking it up once I do.
ā¦Assuming my 360 gets off the fritz.
got a PS3 now, gamertag HellSapā¦
Ooooā¦I havenāt played Garou since I played in on NeoRage.
Playing it with a stick could prove to be mighty good
hey man, could you remind me of your game nightās days/hours?
Edit: Can anyone?
Hey Kurt, Iām moving out of Portland next weekend so if you, Kenny, Ray or whoever wants to re-post this thread feel free to. My job is transfering me down to Salt Lake City so I wonāt be able to keep up with the Portland player infoā¦ Iām sure iāll still see you all online still.
Youā¦ youāre leaving me?
I feel so heartbroken.
ā¦
Nah man. Sucks you gotta leave P-Town, but thatās how things go. Good luck in Salt Lake!
damn thats kind of a bummer, portlands about to lose a strong player. but hey man congrats on the work your puting into your job im sure its a good thing for you, and yeah we still got online, dont be stranger.
We got a problem you guys. We need to start practicing hardcore and stuff because the EvW coast battlesā¦Oregon isnāt even acknowledged. We need to start getting better and get out there!
EvW? everyone knows who we are donāt worry about that.
but we do need to practice.
who are you?
Someone who needs A LOT of practice lol. But Iām not sure if switching charas is such a good idea with the newegg tournament coming up
Thanks man, iāll be online still. Thereās a few good players down there from what iāve heardā¦ I still owe it to Portland for getting me where I am now. Iāll be aroundā¦ and about 5 hours from Evo so iām sure iāll run into some of you there.
Thank you & thank you. Keep practicing, your getting good. Your Gen is getting illā¦ The job is going to be sweet so itās definetly a blessing. I wonāt be a stranger, I still have some friendly rivalries (*coughā¦*coughā¦*Ninjetik) up in the Northwestā¦ I have alot of friends from up here that I spar with so iāll be around.
HDremix anyone?! or even GGPO
Iāll be down for some ggpo later tonight.
So with Noz leaving Portland, it seems a few things need to happen to help keep us Portland people organized.
Iāma recommend anyone whoās not part of the user group join that, so we can use it more effectively.
A new Team Portland thread seems like a good idea so it can be kept up to date (since we canāt edit this oneās original post for keeping the player directory in order). Pasqual suggested we create a new SRK member account, something like TeamPortland, and give the access name/password to a select few people in the area who are willing to put the time in to keep the directory, hangouts, and tournaments pages all organized. Iām behind that idea, too.
Assuming we do create a new directory/team thread, I donāt see why we couldnāt copy over this oneās current roster, but Ray made some suggestions for changes to the individual player entries that I would also like to see implemented (such as everyone having a bio written by someone else in the community).
Iām more than wiling to do my part to give back to the community. If that means helping keep a roster up-to-date and organized or whatever, so be it. Iām still relatively unknown around here, but something like that doesnāt necessarily require being a top local.
Letās just be sure to do what we can to strengthen the local fighting scene.
Oh, and Versis nights are that hype. Find a way to get there; itās worth it.
