Demo/Soldier update imminent?

My internet was off for a few days but I’m back guys. I’m gonna start joining the fuck out of your games.
I’ve heard some rumors about the demo update (the bottle makes him able to rapid-fire when he downs it, the 'nade launcher gets more range, and something about the stickies).
Any word on the soldier? I’ve asked around in-game and have not found any results.
I’m wary, I think that the Demo/Soldier/Engineer have some of the most ‘unmodifiable’ traits of any class. The Soldier is already the most balanced class in the game, I don’t think giving them an assault rifle or modified rocket launcher or whatever would do the game a whole lot of good.
But time will tell.
it’s got to be a new update! once again I’ll return to play if they give Soldier/Demoman update.

Edit: Apparently…if you play as a Blue Soldier, or Red Demoman, you can hear the new Announcer clips.
God fucking damn. Right as I become hesitant about the whole soldier/demo update idea valve comes along and slaps me in the fucking face.
If the update does truly come out tomorrow I’ll be on TF2 all day.

any tips for good cheap and or reliable servers?
I’ve been using ArtOfWarCentral for my L4D2 server, haven’t had any issues with them. Their customer service is quick too, usually a 5 minute or so response time

haha, I was thinking… typically with the updates they usually give us a few days of info leading up to the release, right?
I don’t think we’re getting a full update tonight, maybe some sort of mini competition between Demo and Soldier to determine who actually gets the update next week or something.
