Hydro is the worst fucking map ever. Hoodoo i don’t mind, not sure why people hate it. And I love egypt. Yeah I could throw in some customs like warpath i think it is which they cut from tfc. Dumbest fuckin move evar, twas a great map. cp_orange i think people still love. I’d have to check what’s hoppin after that cuz I honestly don’t play customs anymore.
I haven’t had to pay for my 2 servers for more than half a year cuz of all the donations. That’s 130 dollars saved each month

Great psychic reflect. I found out how good CB is vs Huntsman because of its slow firing rate and accuracy required (after being poofed up if I choose not to fire).

I was playin a lot of soldier and demo yesterday, the 2 classes i play the least. Played some scout too.
I see a lot of the pros who play scout and soldier and it just amazes the shit out of me. Scout just takes time i think with reflexes and you lose that if you don’t play it a lot. I came into arena last night with scout and the fan and raped.
For some reason, i kept getting first kill with a one hit kill from the sandman. I don’t really get that wtf is up with that lol?
Fan seems better now, though I only see scatter played by the pros. Or maybe they aren’t allowed to use unlocks in pro play? Not sure, but i need to up my scatter game.
I watch these gdlk soldiers play where they snipe people out of the air with rockets. Can’t wait till they come out with achievements to give me more incentive to play and learn soldier. Still finishing up the other ones. Some impossible…like jarate and melee 3 players (i think before dying?). And then the stupid get 5 jarate assists in 1 round is still broke, which is awesome.
I also need to learn strategies for sticky placement with demo in 1v1 battles. A lot of people are awesome at this. Not me. Otherwise, i rape with all other classes.
Scout is about aim, movement, and smarts. Great Scouts can channel all three. I am not a great Scout.
There is a negative association with the FaN in the competitive community because of the current knockback physics of the gun, which I believe is broken (in design). The FaN today still has that shot where it can slow or suspend the target in place, making the second shot easier and more effective (assuming you did not miss your first shot). more importantly because of that, however, it is hard to combat against. Having said that the FaN is very good in 1v1 fights. Scattergun has that DPS thing going on, though, and at high levels it’s definitely the gun to use when you’re mounting a comeback. Kill streaks with FaN might be difficult if not all of your encounters are 1v1 or better.
The only unlock that is banned in nearly all competitive play is the Sandman.
Yeah i’ve concluded fan seems more 1v1. I’ll toss em both around a bit. The soldier though…man the guys who play that shit competitively like reptile are just insanely good. Jerk sniping with the rocket launcher? Gonna take me a while to get that down…
