Shit or get off the pot IMHO. Regardless if I’m the best in Eugene or not, I still feel like I am and until I’m consistently beaten by a Eugene player I’ll feel that way. I probably have an 80% win rate over everyone in Eugene, save for Amir. Not claiming this shit ignorantly.
The bolded part in your post makes perfect sense only from a hypocritical standpoint dude. You’re basically saying that if you decided to put in effort to actually play the game more you’d without a doubt be the best, which is exactly what you’re telling me you don’t like to hear.
This recent Tournament was humbling, but not int he way you’d like it to be for me. I know I’m good at this game, probably Eugene’s strongest player at the moment. I didn’t have a good showing in tournament play, obviously, but there are other things that go into that. If you talk to people who were there they’d tell you I was dropping combos I normally don’t drop, accidently super when I never do that (in fact I think Mackinzie said something about that on stream also), and played way too many casuals prior the tournament and let people download some of my skill; believe me I’m not going to let these things happen again if I can help it at all.
But even though these things were happening I still got alot of attention and props from people; stream monsters included. It was nice to hear, and I thank those of you who approached me about it by the way. Much appreciated.
Yes, Theo I got bodied in brackets and that’s where it counts. But Sam B(6:4), Lord BBH(5:5) and Tanaka(6:4) are all great players and in our BO10’s that’s how I stack up against them.
-Tanaka said he couldn’t play anything but his tournament team against me confidently, and this was in casuals.
-Duggish just posted on my facebook “good shit for representing” & how I gave Tanaka a run for his money.

I know this article I’m writing is way longer than it should be but I’m really sick of you always downplaying me in MvC3. Half of the “I’m the best” talk I spew is in jest, the other half I genuinely feel is true – but you take it really to heart and I’m not sure why. It almost seems like you don’t want me to be Eugene’s best or something; I.E. saying Vitalay was going to body me at the tournament before you’d even seen him play at all at the time you’d said it. You’re my boy dude, but on some real shit, if you wanna shut me up then get good at the game and beat me – or help someone else here get better so they can body me.

also, how about less drama and more play? Online is absolute piss for this game and doesnt cut it so we’ll have to rely on offline sessions to level up, which we currently dont have enough of…

I just noticed this edit of yours, and this is false. I don’t think it was as close as advertised unless you forgot that when he and I played he won like 6 games with me being as a 3 handicap, and nobody realized until I went to pick a new team. After that, it was relatively lopsided and I had the upper-hand all night afterwards.

Vitaliy is solid though, far from ass at this game. Needs some refining but everyone does. I’d say more like 8:2 in my favor to be fair, but seeing as how he and I were both trashed – we can replay the set. I’m fine with that. Perhaps wednesday.

Re: Online
If you use training mode Fight Request you get a lot lot lot more matches going, just to throw that out there for people who might not be using it. I usually only get to practice a combo once (and I don’t know any super long ClackeyD style combos) before I get a match. Arcade Fight Request and the normal Online browser are fucking terrible compared to Training Fight Request. Of course 9/10th of the people I play online are pretty terrible so take those matches how you will. At least I sometimes see some new shit. Lately I’ve seen a lot of really effective Hulk and Haggar otg-centric play which is weird to me, but it seems to work!

Yo Tim. I think it was Amir that told me there were 400 people lined up at gamestop on mvc3’s opening day. So that means there’s roughly 400 more players (could be more too.
