The thing is I can easily arrange for strong 3s players to go just because they have in the past and a mojority of them have transportation as well, where as guilty gear people(except myself n DD) all of you read the forums and apart from pui actually posting here like no one has said anything and the 3s fobs dont even know wat SRK is and yet they are willing to go.

Now if DD can can help coodinate (not that im putting any responsibility on you) with me with the guilty gear people I think that would work out even better because DD already knows how to get there and again he has the driving stamina do do it aswell. then at least ike this I know we’d get strong 3s representation and the GG people to come … meh just a thought …

when ppl come out for mythic sexiles tournament, talk to all the guilty gear ppl and tell them in advnace and get phone numbers etc.

Thanks for the awesome suggestion but communicating between ourselves is no problem since we’re all friends. It’s simply a matter of whether people want to go or not. And as for myself, It’s too early to decide since the date is at the time where I usually have midterms and it’s my final year so I don’t want to mess up.

I’d like to go for 3s and AH1 (casuals and MMs). Ideally I’d prefer to stay for Sunday, but Saturday only is fine.

I was going to talk with people about it tonight at Lovegety with so many people all in one spot. I’m basically putting togther the van with the list I put up earlier unless they don’t want to come. TOSF and the GG contingent need to start getting their shit together. It’s just over two months away and that isn’t nearly the amount of time people think it is.

Elected to bump. Looks like the 3S 5 on 5 will go forward. We need 5 top players who all use different characters. Their team at present looks to be Justin/Combofiend/Fubarduck/Amir/??? which means we’ll need the best of the best as a counter. It’d be a great challenge for Toronto/Montreal to create a top level combined team to deal with them.

Does anyone know the top players for other characters? Before anyone throws it out there, Samir has effectively quit SF for personal reasons and isn’t a factor.

Justin, Amir, and (iirc) Fubarduck are all Chun Li players. Do you know what character(s) they’ll be using in the 5-on-5?

I asked that exact question when Justin and I talked about it this morning. I would assume Amir will get the Chun Li. Justin can use an assortment of characters and I figure we’ll see his Yun. No clue who Fubarduck uses aside from Chun Li to be honest.

If you’re referring to yourself on the list I could have swore you said you weren’t interested in coming down for this tournament.

Eric; I elected to take people from the west end first for ease of pick up. If there’s no one from Toronto that is driving (which I don’t think is even an issue) then I’d be happy to take you.

first of all, I beat Adam two years in a row at the T tourneys, and Im much better on arcade than console, hell i dont even have the game at home. 2nd of all, if the team has Adam and Eric in it, TO is sure to lose. Might as well make it TO vs USA. Good luck…

Why argue when players from team usa won’t get to use their main characters?

That event should be called ‘‘scrubs will finally be happy!!!’’.

If we stick to that rule where you can’t pick the same character, the results won’t justify if that country is better than the other.

Welllll as far as I know, combo, fubar aren’t the best in the states so even if our team wins, it doesn’t mean Canada is better…

Sorry but splitting the team up would be really silly seeing how it would cut the strenght of one sick team into 2 lesser teams with half the power.
