An 8-man round robin is the best way to choose who should be on the team. You have to play every person involved once. This shows how well you do against top players with different styles under immense pressure. In a double elim tourney, you can get lucky and avoid some of the players that give you trouble. In a round robin, that’s not gonna happen…

Ahoihoy, back with more candidate updates.
If you fools don’t know what’s happening, I’m throwing a 8 or 16 (to be fair to every single SoCal player that wants in) man double elim tourney to decide who gets the last two spots in the 8 man round robin tourney which will decide who gets the last spot on team B.
Anyhow, the heads in the double elim tourney I would like to participate so far are: Crisco, Shogun, Dues, Phat and Ytwojay. I’m still keeping my eyes open and getting feedback from other marvel heads to see who to nominate. The next upcoming tourneys will definitely also be a factor. Also this tourney will quickly take place before the 8 man round robin tounrey. Names will be completely drawn at random. So to the selected players, no bitching about playing so and so early on, if you’re hungry enough you’ll eat up anyone.
The other four* spots are still open, so practice up fools.
*Might move to 12 spots (16 total) if I see enough starving players. Plus OG heads are still unaccounted for.
i dont know if any body posted this but just an idea…i think you should have a standerd 16 man dbl elim bracket,then the top five players do it round robin style just to be fair…oh well,just an idea…i also think fernboi should get in on this,he is a fucken beast

I nominate Dan to be able to enter. I know Dan’s capabilities better than anyone else and trust that this guy’s talent level is good enough to be a top player. he just lacks experience.

I think everyone should go to the tourney this weekend at FFA. Top 2 move into the 8-man round robin. That way everyone has a shot…
When is this tournament?
I would have to agree with SiN. I think everyone should just go to the tournament this Sunday. first sign of hunger would be showing up. I do believe there is enough pressure on all the people participating as is since everyone seems to want to be on the team. this works well because they will be under pressure in the team tournament. I will personally drive Dan myself this Sunday if he were given the chance. and like I said before I do want the most solid and balanced TEAM for the Cali. fuck the A and B stuff. step up or get wrecked up.
ps: well I first thought of putting Jamaal on the team but he be in AZ so iono whats up with his game. jamaal for sure would be one of the top nominees because he does tear most of these fools up. but thats just the way it goes.
