I am not sure if this was covered before but my joystick started to act up again. The joystick movement input would input forward by itself sometimes while I’m playing.
Would it be the PCB board that needs replacing or would it be the ball stick itself?

It could be a number of things. It maybe the stick its self or it could be something like the USB cable. Do you have an extra stick available to put into to try?
From research those cables go faulty quite easily. You can order a new one from Jasens Customs.
Thanks for the reply. I will test this out and report back. I am hoping it might be the cable…since it will cost way less than replacing the PCB board.
If it doesn’t work at least you have a decent shell for a mod 
I tried a different cable and it wasnt it. I think it might be the PCB.
