Te2+ joystick and button response issue

I have the Ryu TE2+. Modded with the fight board mod. Works great but now I’m noticing my button and joystick response time is not is good as it should be or I would like. I have original joystick with octagonal gate and a 2lb spring. There is alot of dead area before click engages. My question is are there any changes in can make to get more accurate and faster responses to my moves?
Also, does the new Sanwa silent high tension joystick have less dead area than the original or is it just silent that makes it better?

Fight board mod? Which one?

Joystick sensitivity can be adjusted with larger actuators up to a point. They carry those at paradise arcade shop and there are threads discussing them here in Tech Talk.

The MAGENTA joystick is also something you should investigate. I have one and highly recommend it. The sensitivity of individual directions can be adjusted and so much more.

Buttons are different. If Sanwa buttons aren’t sensitive enough I’d recommend buttons with Cherry MX switches. They can also be found at paradise arcade shop and come in MANY different types. Research them thoroughly. Gamerfinger also has buttons using silver cherry mx switches (very sensitive).

You’ve got a metric ton of options to explore. Good luck. If you have more questions send me a PM. I’ll share what I know.
