It’s because there’s two batches of TE sticks. If the one your pre-ordered is from the 1st wave of production, you will get it on Feb 18th. If its the 2nd one, it’ll be in March.
well my ebgames didn’t say anything about two batches, all they said was it was coming on the 18th. I will go bright and early on the 18th and if they aren’t in… i guess march is right.
I ordered it on the 20th and they told me late March. I guess it’s possible that was a date given to them as a worst-case scenario and Mad Catz will actually have more available so now the stores are being told they’ll be available Feb 18th. Who knows! I hate waiting I’m so impatient 
Have you guys noticed that SF4 CE is now $90 at BB/FS, and the regular edition is $70? Looks like the days of parity for games is over now that the dollar has been low for a while.

Guys take a snap shot from your mobile phone or do a print screen of the EB Games.ca for the price of the Street Fighter IV & Street Fighter IV CE. It still at the original price before every other store decide to rise up their prices.
Future Shop will have to match the price of the EB Games for sure it you have something to prove them.
I’m trying to get the standard Fight Stick. One EB Games store said they were told to stop taking preorders for them and refused to double check their system (same store that said they were not taking TE preorders and after persuading them to check, found that they were allowed to take TE preorders). So I went to another EB Games and they said they were also not taking preorders for any of the Fight Sticks as directed by their district manager (none were allocated to them and I could come back in March and see if they have any).
Ugh! Once I get the SFIV game and the TE’s that I managed to preorder, I’m never stepping foot in EB Games again - not worth the stress (IMHO).

Another puzzling update from EB at Eaton’s centre. Went to pay off my pre-orders and he said they’re expecting them on the 18th with the game. I asked if their getting their full allotted shipment and he said whatever they get will be distributed based on who pre-ordered the stick first. I basically told him about the 3000 that were already made and that pre-orders were many times that in the US and that if this Canada IS getting it on the 18th is it because of quick turnaround on production. He gave me a blank look and said the 18th as far as he knew.
The eb i went to ( who wasn’t accepting TE preorders until like thursday last week ). Was even worst. I asked if I would receive a phone call when they arrive he just said “umm you give us a call”. Then I asked if they would receive it on the feb 18th or later and the guy was 'like “we’re not sure.”
How the hell am I suppose to know when they arrive, and if I knew would I give you the call ?

I don’t suppose this was Dufferin Mall? That’s pretty funny he expects you to call. I guess that means he wants you to call every single day to ask the same question over and over, which will drive him nuts, making him regret he’d ever said to call. Not that I would do that if I were you.

My cousin tried asking about the preorders of the TE stick and the CE game, and the guy just said "No"
Asked if he could check the computer (I got my cousin the SKU for the stick)
He just looked at him retarded and said "No, I know off the top of my head"
He even told the guy that someone preordered it just the other day, and he just replied with “No, that’s impossible”
(Because, I’ve read on SRK (I believe) that someone preordered at Duff Mall the other day)

Can’t you guys file a complaint to EBGames Canada about the service you’re receiving? Also, the price of the games has risen, if you look at the EBGames.ca site under SFIV, you’ll see that the price did indeed go up, so that means that the “price match” will be nulled.
I’m pretty sure that the TE will NOT be shipped on launch. The normal one will for sure be on launch, and they’ve stopped taking pre orders on it.
I gotta preorder my SF4 today then…

. if anyone wants to know the store was Markville Mall Eb Games. This store at the beginning was just annoying , ‘no we’re not taking pre-orders, and no we wont’ check.’ Compared to the highway 7 and woodbine location, this store is completely lost and I would gladly give my business to them instead.
My buddy is a manager at the EB games in square one. He told me that at first they were expecting the TE sticks around mid-end march, but now they’re getting it on the launch day of SFIV.
