Just curious on what you guys would think, could taunting be used as a tactic to actually lure an enemy to attack you? Something like using a taunt and as soon as your opponent comes, you use XFACTOR to punish.

Umm no. Only newbs do this.
I don’t think you can xfactor cancel taunts, but you can call assists during them. I’ve used this a few times when my opponent was already razzed and not thinking clearly.

Deadpool can cancel his taunts and use them in combos. Also, its a badass taunt. Does that make it effective? Its all in the eye of the beholder
You can xfactor cancel any taunt and yes i do use it to troll random noobs when im in the mood. Works everytime haha
Chun-Li’s taunt hurts, and rarely, I use it to link it into her Hoyokusen. It whiffs half the time, but oh well.
Spidey’s taunt is top tier.
I X-factor cancel taunts only when I win using a hyper combo. I love seeing my characters taunt in slow motion
If I manage to jump behind a Dante doing his guns super I taunt since I have the time too.
If you are taunting to get in their head it’s not worth it if they know what they’re doing. You wanna get in heads do it with harrasment.
Although I admit to taunting with chris now and again since it’s fast.
Better hope he doesn’t have TEH four buttons available.

But DP taunt is pretty much an attack as well.
also taunting does work, just use a taunt and when they are comming to get you call an assist. but using xfactor would be stupid
